  1. Act 1:6  When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? Act 1:7  And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

All that study comes to nothing because Master Jesus said it wasn't for us to know the times or the seasons. I feel bad because that was lots of work.

Led by Stephen Engel, a follower of Judaism,[1] the plaintiffs sought to challenge the constitutionality of the state's prayer in school policy. They were supported by groups opposed to the school prayer including rabbinical organizations, Ethical Culture, and Judaic organizations. The acting parties were not members of one particular religion; despite being listed in the court papers as an atheist, plaintiff Lawrence Roth later denied this allegation and described himself as religious but not comfortable with prayer.[2] The five plaintiffs were made up of three Jews and two self-proclaimed "spiritual" people who did not belong to any one organized religion.

.................... The American Jewish Committee, the Synagogue Council of America, and the American Ethical Union each submitted briefs urging the Court to instead reverse and rule that the prayer was unconstitutional.[5]

Did Jewish people get rid of prayer in school?

    Brother Ken,

I myself am a pastor; therefore, I certainly understand the sentiment of your above statement.  (Some days I feel "sorry" for me too.)

However, I would ask that you might balance that sentiment with the following truth from 1 Timothy 3:1 -- "This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of bishop, he desireth a good work."

Pastoring may indeed be "a tough life," but it is also "A GOOD WORK!!!"  (Indeed, some days I need a reminder of this.)

    Amen, brother Scott

  4. Mat 6:23 But if thine eye be euill, thy whole body shall be full of darknesse. If therfore the light that is in thee be darkenesse, how great is that darkenesse?

Mat 6:23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

  5. 173 changes to the 1st chapter of Matthew. I used e-Sword for my versions. It would take me 20 years to track the whole Bible.

I hope I get to shake Benjamin Blayney's hand. He done all that work with pen and paper!!

I'd like to thank the good Lord for giving us computers.

  6. Matthew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Revelation 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
Revelation 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
Was the holy place in the USA? No. Where was the holy place? Jerusalem.
The Jewish people will not be in Israel, they will flee into the wilderness for 3260 days. 18 days short of 3.5 years. Who will be in Jerusalem? The Antichrist, and the false Prophet, with the image in the holy place.

Scripture says that the Jews called Feast of Unleavened Bread as the Passover (Now þe feast of vnleuened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passeouer(Luk.22:1)(KJV).

They feasted the Passover ”according to the tradition of the Elders”(Mark.7:5), on Nisan 15.

Scripture calls such Passover as “the Jewes Passeouer”(John.11:55).

The Lords Passeouer was feasted in “the fourteenth day”( Lev.23:5)

what do you think about it?

Luke 22:1 Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.

Mark 7:5 Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?

John 11:55 And the Jews' passover was nigh at hand: and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves.

Leviticus 23:5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD'S passover. 6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.

I think the New Testament agrees with the Old Testament.

“Bride” ( “faithfull” (Rev.17: 14) will already be in” her closet” (Joel.2: 16), when the Lord “shall send his Angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his Elect from the foure windes” (Matt.24: 31) Here,” his Elect” are “called, & chosen” (Rev.17: 14)(KJV1611). "Bride" will already be in Heaven, because “a sheafe of the first fruits”(Lev.23:10) have already brought, but “called, & chosen” will yet be on earth,  because the haruest is come.” (Mark.4:29). It is "the end of barley haruest, and of wheat haruest”(Ruth.2:23)

    I would like to disagree.

I too have been taught the rapture is the first fruits but numbers prove this to be wrong.

    The rapture is the harvest.

    A. All the old Testament age believers who are dead.

    B. All the new Testament age believers who are dead.

    C. All the new Testament believers currently alive.

A+B+C will out number the Jews saved in the last days. In fact A will out number the Jews of the last days, B will out number the Jews of the days, and even C with the current age falling away we too out number the Jews of the last days. So we see A+B+C is a number so large it is the harvest.

In old time farming lingo, the Jews will be the gleaning. Numbers so small its what the gleaners will pick up.
