  1. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

    vs

    Acts 6:2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.

    Why isn't it "word" capitalized in Acts 6:2?  Is the word of God given to men less than the Word sitting in Heaven? If so, how? Both are perfect, and infallible. Is the Bible a dead book?

  2. Invicta, I hope they get saved.

    We had our service and the women done a great job putting everything together. We had lots of visitors but no one got saved. We had a lite meal after the service.

    I was at a service about a month ago, a revival, where there was lots of lost people. The preacher was Joe Kidd, and man did he pour his heart out. At the end many people lifted their hands during prayer that they was lost but no one answered the call to get saved. There was a very strong Spirit there wanting the people to get saved. But they turned Jesus down.

  3. rstrats, here is another thing to think about for the 72 hours Jesus was dead. In Acts 2:31, Peter said Jesus' flesh never deteriorated in death. Jesus wasn't embalmed so how did his flesh remain fresh?

    Paul said our bodies will see corruption in 1 Corinthians 15:54, so we know something odd happened for the 3 days Jesus was dead.

    Ask these questions to yourself:

    - Did the Lord put his wrath upon Noah and his family?

    - Did the Lord bring wrath upon Lot?

    - Did the Lord bring wrath upon anyone who was his child when he was punishing the heathen?

    - Will God bring wrath upon his enemies?

    - What is the final wrath?

    - Isn't the final wrath of God Hell and then the Lake of fire?

    When you answer these questions correctly, you will know the answers to your above questions.

    - Did the Lord put his wrath upon Noah and his family? No, they escaped in the ark.

    - Did the Lord bring wrath upon Lot? No, The Angels brought him forth, and set him without the city

    - Did the Lord bring wrath upon anyone who was his child when he was punishing the heathen? No, Jesus alone was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

    - Will God bring wrath upon his enemies? Yes

    - What is the final wrath? When God burns up the earth and hell. When the elements melt, after the 1000 reign.

    - Isn't the final wrath of God Hell and then the Lake of fire? No. Hell is a location. Lake of Fire is a future location. Wrath is an emotion that will start a fire that shall burn up the earth and hell.

    The Church is looking to escape like Noah in the Ark, and like Lot by the angels' hands. We will be set outside the earth when God's wrath comes upon it. If God's wrath was only coming upon a percent of the earth we would look to be moved to a safe area, but His wrath is coming upon the whole world, all of the earth.

  5. So there is 3.5 years we are not appointed to. Then moving back again to chapter 6 when the Lamb's wrath begins. In chapters 4 & 5 John is telling is what Heaven is like and nothing wrathful occurs. So that would give us another 3.5 years of the Lamb's wrath. 7 years so far.

    What isn't talked about, another 3.5 years is needed for Israelis to bury all the dead from Magog before the Antichrist runs them out of Israel.

  6. The rod is a short club used for beating the enemies away.

    The staff is use for catching and guiding the sheep.

    Modern staves have a better crook than the wooden ones. The sheep learn what the crook is for and pay attention to where they are being guided. Also it's good for catching them when they do not want to take meds that taste bad or shots that sting. My uncle has sheep and I've been shocked at their friendliness. They have better and bigger personalities than cattle. In fact they seem to be as loving as a good dog.

  7. Revelation 4:1  After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

    Hereafter. After what? After the seven Gentile Churches

    200px-Seven_churches_of_asia.svg.png

    These Churches have been gone for a long time yet the "things" didn't come to pass. So the idea of seven churches became seven church ages. That the mostly Gentile church will be moved to Heaven like John, then the focus will be on a mostly Jewish Church. Yes, the word church doesn't not appear after the third chapter. BUT, they have the testimony of Jesus and only saved people have that.

    Come up hither, They say that will be the call to the dead and living when Jesus comes in the clouds for the great change.

    I looked, and, behold, a door opened in heaven Jesus being the door to Heaven

    ~~~~~~
    When we die we are already judged. Saved go to Heaven, the lost go to Hell.
    At the Great White Throne no one goes from Hell into Heaven, they only go into the Lake of Fire. Why? The old Earth is destroyed. The New Earth has no Hell under it.
  8. Commandments of God”
    This phrase only appears three times in the Authorized King James Version.
    The first time this phrase is used it was Apostle Paul in his first letter to the Corinthians. “Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.”- 1Corinthians 7:19. How can Paul say keeping the commandments of God and not include circumcision?
    Let's do a little background work. Jehovah told Abraham to start the tradition of circumcision in Genesis 17, “And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.” Later in the Law Jehovah told Moses it was one of the commandments, in Leviticus 12:3, “And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.
    So we see it was part of God's commandments in the Law, but was those commandments replaced by God?
    In the book of John 14:15 we see Jesus telling us to keep his commandments. “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” In John 14:21 Jesus said, “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.” Again in John 15:10 Jesus said, “If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
    How do we know what commandments Jesus gave us to follow? Acts 1:1-4 “The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.” 1 Corinthians 14:37 “If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.” 1 Thessalonians 4:2 “For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.
    We see the phrase repeated the last two times by John in Revelation 12:17 “And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” Revelation 14:12 “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
    The 1st time the phase appears Paul is telling us it's not the Law or Torah. The Apostles was Jewish and they taught and kept the commandments of Jesus as God. Jesus even told us he fulfilled the Father's and we should keep his commandments. In the Revelation verses John tells us the men are Christians but over and over men say those are Law commandments. So why do some writers of Christian/Jewish Eschatology say the verses in Revelation mean the Law or Torah? My Sunday school teacher has given me some books on eschatology but none of them explain their reasoning. He is on vacation so I thought I would ask you guys and gals.
    1st we see in 2008, 6.98 was rounded up, no problem with that. But 777.68 was rounded down, problem. The problem is 778 doesn't fit the numerology pattern of 7s.
    2nd, we see in 2008 things got worse, much much worse.
    These patterns was going to repeat last year 2015. The sign failed. God didn't fail, just man saying this was a sign from God. Man failed to understand what is a sign from God. Man added to the Bible using Genesis 1:14.
    Genesis 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: 15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
    For seasons, days, and years was cast away in the explanation of the Tetrads. The pattern of the Tetrads was created by God, only man saying they mean this or they mean that if false.
    Jonathan Cahn was left off of the list of false teachers, and he is the brainchild of this falsehood. He is also the brainchild of the Shemitah. The Shemitah meant we was going to be freed from this life of sin. The wonderful rapture was going to take place sometime during the year. Another failed latter day prophet.
    So what is a sign? When the sun backs up in the sky, that's a sign. Isaiah 38:8 When the sun and the moon stop, that's a sign. Joshua 10:13
    About 1/3 of the Bible is prophecy and to ignore any part of that 1/3 is sin.
    The problem is adding prophecy to the Bible. We have all the signs we need in the pages of the Bible. If the Tetrads or a Shemitah-Rapture was a prophecy it would be in the Bible, not just tacked on to a single word.
    Some IFB brethren have ignorantly condemned these signs.  They need to repent.
    Ignoring false prophecy isn't a sin. Ignoring a false prophet isn't a sin.
    This can not be a sign because it occurs after Mohammed died. He died in 632 and but this is revealed in 795. This is called hindsight.
    The Lunar Tetrad is on a never ending cycle until God Intervenes during the end of days.
    John Henry are you into the Bible Code?
    Where does it say an eclipse will occur when Israelis reform a nation?
    Do you think an eclipse occurred when Jesus died?
