When Jesus was raised from the dead his clothing remained so I believe when I am taken up my clothing gold teeth glasses will be laying in a big pile.

Well, the shadow didn't move because the sundial did! And why does the sun appear to move? Cuz the earth rotates! And therefore when it appeared to move backwards, the earth's rotation had to have been disturbed.
  Try READING some detailed history boox & the works of Immanuel Velikovsky, among other things. I figure they're available in Australia.  And the maruts were also Hindu storm gods. Did you bang your head against Uluru a few too many times?
 
 

Sorry I didn't reply sooner.  The Amalekites were on the move when they & the Israelis brushed by each other in the wilderness. They were on their way to subdue Egypt, which was greatly weakened by the plagues of Exodus. The Amalekites' own land had been hit by many plagues, especially polluted water & vermin. Thwy were called "Hyksos" by the old Egyptians & they remained in Egypt til God started their downfall by having Saul & the Israelis wipe out their main stronghold of Auris in Egypt.  That's why Egypt was so generous with Israel in the days of David & Solomon.  And several North American Indian legends tell of plagues in North America similar to those of the Exodus.
 
  And the Pawnees have a legend about the sun's starting to rise when it noticed a hare had made a trap for it, and so the sun retreated for awhile til the hare grew tired & went away, then it resumed its normal course. If the sun's retrograde movement for Hezekiah occurred around noon, that would correspond with sunrise time in the east of North America. And old Persian legends have stories about calamities similar to those in Exodus.
 
  I read about those various legends in several history books many years ago. Wish I could recall their names. And I've read all of Immanuel Velikovsky's works about the events of the Exodus, which also point out the occurrence of many of its plagues all over the world. That's the one source I can name right now.

The day of the Lord is very very very near because Israel the nation not desired is gathered.
Zephaniah 1:14-15,2:1-3
14 The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.
15 That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,
2:1-3
1 Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired;
2 Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD'S anger come upon you.
3 Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.

Ownership of earth will be taken by God through war in heaven spoken of in Revelation 12. this happens at the middle of the tribulation.
 
Revelation 11:3-7,15
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
 
14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Israel will have Jerusalem till the middle of the tribulation. See Revelation 11:1-2
1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
 
Zechariah 14:1-5 (Mid Tribulation)
Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

I tend to agree, especially since Rev. 17 plainly IDs Rome as the harlot that tries to ride the beast.

Revelation 17::3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones.
Scarlet and purple are the colours of Rome Pagan and Papal.  The papal religion is a blasphemous religion.  In the 39 articles of the Church of England the mass is called "a blaphemous fable and a dangerous deceit."  (Sad that many Anglican churches are now practising the mass.)  The seven head represent the seven hills of Rome,   The ten horms represent the ten kindoms that Rome split into.
The bride of Christ is the church.  The harlot is the false bride,, the Roman Church, and those that follow her, Churches together, for imstance.

I go to an independent Baptist church now but I went to an independent Bible church for forty years and there was no difference between them. The Southern Baptist have an administration over the small churches.

I have come to the same conclusion.
The Holy Spirit resides in the heart of every believer in the church age. Even as we speak, the mystery of iniquity is working among the false religions of the world, the false prophets and false teachers among the churches (and all over the internet!), and in the heart of the wicked unbelievers.
Once the Lord Jesus returns in the clouds as Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, the Holy Spirit will be taken away, "And then shall that Wicked be revealed." 2 Thessalonians 2:8 The anti-Christ will be revealed; Revelation 6:1 The Lord Jesus will destroy the Wicked one when He returns on the earth as portrayed in Revelation 19:11-21
The Holy Spirit, in the lives of all the believers, hinder the anti-Christ from being revealed.
 
 

Environmentalism is not about Clean Water or Clean Air, but rather, the Total Dismantling of Industry and Technology.

Celina, I would counsel you to ignore pretty much anything Invicta says about prophecy.
His position on such matters is certainly not Baptist, and it is also not Biblical.
He will lead into false interpretive practices, and therefore to false conclusions.

True we will know when it happens. I don't see any other judgment for the people who are saved in the 1000 year kingdom age.

((When the lamb (Lord) comes to Israel she will flee to the river ford on the Arnon River which is 1/3 of the way south on the Jordan side of the Dead Sea.))

2 Corinthians 5:19-20

Luke 10:38-42

Jesus wants our focus and thankfulness. When you see anything nice thank God. when anything happens you like thank God. I once had an unfolded 8.5 by 11 inch sheet of paper fall off my desk at work. Would you believe it landed on edge standing up. I thanked God I knew he was giving me a sign which said I am here. Thank you Jesus.
In your life think love to God and Jesus they are listening and loving you back.
If you get a good parking spot, thank God. Be aware of what is happening.
