  1. I can't say that ALL rock is evil but much of it is such as Black Metal, Death Metal, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and several other groups and genres that have been associated with devil worship and anti-Christian morals. Its best to stay away from rock but not judge those who listen.

  2. Let's not forget that those civil laws were given specifically to Israel. In the New Testament Christians are commanded to be subject to the government they live under. Christians are under the civil laws of the nation they live in, they are not subject to the civil laws given to ancient Israel that no longer exists.

Christians are also to marry only Christians. There is more than enough reason to question whether or not the rapist is actually a biblical Christian or not.

In the end, it comes down to the fact Christians are not under the civil laws given to Israel in the Old Testament. There was no mention of the age of the rapist and the woman raped, but the civil laws of the nation they live in applies and depending upon their ages, whether to pursue legal actions or whatever is up to the woman who was raped, or her parents if she's a minor...or the local authorities depending upon their ages.

As to birthing a bastard child, that which you cite is from laws handed specifically to ancient Israel and one of them deals with the temple. None of that applies to Christians or to one attending a Christian church.

Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
As for the laws that were "specific to ancient Israel" were the ten commandments not a part of these laws? Lets just lie and dishonor our parents all we want, right? is that what youre saying? Sorry I just dont get your way of thinking
  3. I know this is a sensitive subject, but I was curious none-the-less. Which is a bigger threat to Christianity and humanity - Catholicism or Islam. As far as I'm concerned Catholicism is a bigger threat considering all those little boys who got molested and the fact that the Pope is the False Prophet. However perhaps Obama being the anti-Christ is worse. Opinions?

  4. All psychopaths are not all serial killers. As a matter of fact some psychopaths never personally kill anybody. Obama and those around him are a case in point.

I agree 100%. I'm not sure where I read this but apparently there was a study showing that the majority of muslims and catholics have mental conditions.
  5. According to the Creation Museum, Canaan and his descendants populated Africa. As far as you insuating that I'm a racist, I am most certainly not! And regardless God instructs us to judge

Leviticus 19:15 In righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

1 Corinthians 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

    1 Corinthians 5:12-13
For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

1 Corinthians 6:2-3 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

  6. I have to agree!

It seems he fails to understand rape is a sin, & because a man rapes a woman does not mean she should marry him,

Plus he seems to think the cure for rape is for the woman to marry the man that raped her.

And he has the nerve to say I'm not a true Baptist.

With what he has posted under this topic, and that topic about a video, I dislike having to say this at any time, but he seems suspect.

First off, sex before marriage is sin. I'm not saying that I agree with rape because I dont but the Bible says nothing about rape being a sin. I dont mean to question whether you are a true Baptist, but it seems that you don't know your bible too well. Nothing a good long read and a few prayer sessions wont help. I seem suspect? I'm not too sure what you mean boy but I hope you find your answers.

  7. 1st: I doubt this is a true event (though it could be)
2nd: I think you're just yanking chains and have no life outside of a computer
3rd: The US government says this boy should be charged
4th: The boy can't be sued without it resulting in him being charged
5th: Rebekah (as a case in point) was given an option ("will you go with this man?") concerning a marrige (I know there was no rape there)
6th: The French government used to have a miniature guillotine that was quite appropriate for this case
7th: The family would prefer to have a wedding today and see a divorce later to avoid their embarrassment? (or do you think the marriage will endure the time of his incarceration?)

I'm not sure why you think I'm "yanking your chain" apparently you think rape is funny. And as for what the US government thinks, is that really relevant? The US government also believes that there should be seperation from church and state - and I know as good Christian man you must agree that our children should be taught the Bible in school. And personally I live by the law of God, not the law of the muslim Obama!

  8. If ,he is a "young Baptist man" was he never taught that rape was wrong? that sex outside of marriage was wrong? Or did he just learn the Old Testament - rape the girl and then ask her to marry you?
I would never ask a daughter of mine to marry the man who raped her. A man who cannot control himself with a girl he is supposed to "love" enough to marry could not be trusted to control himself around other women, or perhaps even his own daughter.

I admit that having sex before marriage is completely unforgivable but why would you let your child be born a bastard? Bastards are an abomination.

    Deuteronomy 23:2
A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD.

  9. OK, You said this man raped here, now wants to marry her, & it seems that you calling her wrong, because she will not marry a man that raped here.

No, if a woman is raped, she is under no obligations to marry the man that raped here.

The bible would say otherwise(read up). You are a true Baptist Christian are you not?

As for the man, he needs to be charged for raping her.

Are you God? Who are you to say this Christian boy needs to be charged?
  10. You have given insufficient info for an informed response (probably intentionally) and I don't waste time to continue exchanges beyond 2-5 posts per subject online anyway --- but, are you saying that this boy wants to marry her even though the only sex he'll be seeing over the next 15-20 is from fellow inmates and then return to her life?

What I'm trying to get at is the family wants the two to get married because they do not want to have a bastard grandchild. The man in question has told them that he is willing to father the child, however the daughter wants to charge him.
I hardly think she WANTS to birth a bastard child. In fact, if she was raped, she probably did not want to birth any child right now.

Well her family is very glad that she is willing to birth the child, and I agree that no one WANTS to birth a bastard child which is precisely why she should marry her rapist.

  11. I don't understand. He RAPED her and you call her vile?

Yes, she wants to birth a bastard child.
The law is clear in this situation:

    Deuteronomy
    22:28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;
22:29 Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.

  12. A friend of the family recently came to us in need of some advice, help us help her out. Her daughter was recently raped by a young Baptist man and she became pregnant. Now this vile girl is threatening to charge this man. The worst part is she won't even consider marrying this man. Any advice I can pass on?

  13. If you refer to the verse quoted, you'll see that Canaan was cursed, not Ham. Canaan was the father of the Canaanites - they would mostly like have been of Middle Eastern coloring - not black. There is no Biblical curse on 'black' people.

Ham was black and therefore his son Canaan was black and like you said Canaan was cursed making black people cursed.

Even the blacks dont deny this.

  14. Your article is a perfect example of why women should never leave the house

Genesis 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

Mark 7:8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do
