  1. On a recent missions trip to Israel, I put together a short documentary on a recent prophetic fulfillment in Northern Israel that is very significant for the time frame we are living in today. Isaiah 29;17-18 "Is it not yet a very little while, and Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be esteemed as a forest? And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of OBscurity, and out of darkness."
  2. For lack of a better option I will probably resume my ignore it/don't talk about it, and maybe the situation will eventually go away or improve approach. [/quote/] Have you read "Hudson Taylor's Spiritual Secret"? It is an helpful book about this
  3. I was living, but in my own power, I was doing all I knew to do. But I was not prepared for the hour When I high mountain came into view. In my own strength I struggled to climb it, But OH! Such weakness I felt! Somewhere on that mountain in darkness, I came to the end of myself. And when I came to the end of myself He was there to give me his help. When I said, "I'm NOT Able", He said, "I AM"! In my weakness I discovered the strength of the Lamb. His almighty power I felt, When I came to the end of Myself There is a secret that you may be missing, As you struggle to just make it through. It will take more than your best to please him. Jesus wants to live his life through you. So he'll take you to high rugged mountains, For a lesson that you must learn well. Then he'll patiently wait for the moment When you come to the end of yourself. And when you come to the end of yourself He'll be there to give you his help When you say, "I'm NOT Able", He'll say, "I AM"! In your weakness you'll discover the strength of the Lamb His almighty power you'll find When you came to the end of yourself (An awesome song but I don't know the authors name)
  4. 2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
  5. During the campaign, while visiting a National Park, I ran into a few Mormon tourists who were all proudly wearing their name tags. They were obviously, very proud of their Mormon heritage. However, they had no answer for Colossians 2:9 "For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily." except to walk away.
  6. I saw an article in the NPR website titled, "After Romney's Loss, Mormons Lament What Might Have Been" This is a big issue. If Romney would have won, it may have really opened a lot of doors to Mormon Missionaries. SO maybe this is a small blessing resulting from Romney's loss in the race for the White House.
  7. Laying a foundation 1 Corinthians 3:10-11 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. It seems that too many times, a person is lead in the sinners prayer without a true understanding of the plan of Salvation. When Peter preached to the Jews, he said Acts 3:19 “Repent ye therefore, and be converted,” We have to remember that he was preaching to people who were raised in the Jewish culture and were intimately familiar with the basics such as who God is, what sin is, what substitution is, and why we need a Saviour. Many times today, especially outside of the "Bible Belt", we give the plan of Salvation to people who are totally oblivious to many if not all of these and many more truths of the Gospel. Our society is more like the one Paul encountered on Mars Hill that the one Peter preached to in Jerusalem. On Mars Hill, Paul also, took a much different approach of communicating the Gospel. Acts 17:24-31 “God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.” Paul had to start from scratch, so to speak, in his effort to communicate effectively the plan of Salvation. From describing who God is, our responsibility to him as Creator, what sin is, to explaining the resurrection and repentance, he had to lay a foundation of these truths before thay could come to understanding of his message. In our day and age, we need to communicate in the same way that Paul did, by starting at the beginning and laying the foundation, just as missionaries in the foreign field do The following files are an Illustrated Gospel tract that tries to clearly share these important Gospel truths that are so often not understood by many people.
  8. President Barack Hussein Obama won the 2012 presidential election on Tuesday, November 6th. After a heated campaign and close race, he was able to carry Colorado, Iowa, Ohio, New Hampshire, Virginia and Wisconsin, as well as hold a narrow edge over Romney in Florida. Mr. Obama won at least 303 electoral votes. What is it our Biblical responsibility when wrong prevails? 1. Watch Matthew 24:42-46 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. ... Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. .... Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. Luke 12:35 Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning; 2. Pray 2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 1 Timothy 2:1-3 “ I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;” Matthew 9:37-38 “… The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” 3. Work John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. Matthew 28:19 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…” Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
  9. In the Cross

    Pc Vs. Mac

In ease of use though, Mac is really awesome!
  10. In the Cross

    Pc Vs. Mac

I just bought a Mac and really like it, especially it's ease of use in audio recording and editing using an audia interface. However, transitioning over from a PC can be challenging when trying to transfere all the documents, pictures, video ect. to the Mac. Also, all new software must be bought and gotten used to which is challenging.
  11. Where is Pastor David Wymer Located? What Church does he pastor? Will be Praying!
  12. If our definition of a "christian nation" is that we were perfect and that everyone was a christian, then no we were not ever a christian nation. However, if what we mean by christian nation is that our nation was founded on many christian and biblical principles by many Christians, then we were a christian nation. Would to the Lord that we could go back to were we once were as a nation. We used to be the number one missionary sending nation in the world.
  13. I think the reason some people object to being called "sir" or "Ma'am" is that it reminds them that they too, have an authority over them. Those who don't like authority don't like seeing other people submitting to authorities either, whether it be civil law or even the Lord. Saying "sir" or 'Ma'am" is a constant reminder of ones place under authority. Obedience in the home is where people learn to listen to and obey the Lord when out of the home.
  14. Yes, I believe that saying yes sir, no ma'am ect. is a very good practice. I was taught to say it as a child and when I have children, I plan to teach it to them. If a child is taught to speak in the right way, it is often easier for them to go in the right direction. If their words are honoring to their authorities, they will already be on track for their actions to be honoring also. Also, I found that as a child, when I wasn't saying yes sir to, lets say, my Dad. He could see that may have been an indicator that there were some other things in my life that were not right as well. Ps. I was raised in the North so that wasn't the issue.
  15. Dr. A. E. Wilder-smith, a young earth micro-biologist, is on of the best speakers I have ever heard on the subject of evolution and creation. Dr. A. E. Wilder-Smith was one of few scientists in the world to have three earned doctorates. He was a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and a NATO three-star general. He was an expert on chemotherapy, pharmacology, organic chemistry, and biochemistry, and also a gifted teacher and popular public speaker. He is a great speaker on DNA and the Genetic code. I heard Dr. Mark Eastman, a creationist scientist, say that listening to one of Dr. Wilder-smith’s lectures once made him very angry. He was an evolutionist at the time and he said that that Dr. Wilder-Smith’s 30 minuet lecture on a cheap 50 cent cassette tape just blew his $100,000.00 education right out of the water! You can hear one of Dr. Wilder-Smith’s speeches at this link. http://goall.org/creationsciencenew.html
