  7. The King James Bible is the Book God put in my hands to lead me to the Him for salvation in 1980.
  8. All denominations is right, it is even creeping into IFB churches, it is also amazing how the many of these other churches especially the younger ones have never heard good, gospel, hymns. Had some visitors from a non-denomination (believe anything stand for nothing) church. My daughter sang and their comments were, "She sings beautiful, it is so vintage." (she is 15 years old, at least for 33 more days.)
  9. 10 days into watching and using this forum, interesting thought provoking, fun and I think I may be getting the hang of being opinionated, oops I meant giving thoughts on issues. Thanks to all for the welcome!

We're so very glad you are here and hope you will stick around and continue to provide us with your opinions (oops, I meant thoughts on issues). :)

  10. This pastor when someone calls me reverend says, "Nothing reverend about me. I just a saved sinner called to preach." I will be adding, "only one reverend I know of and that is God."
  11. Sam Gipp Hear him preach a couple of times good preaching, writes a lot, King James Bible all the way. Friend of the Church Ministries http://samgipp.com/
  12. Proverbs 15:1 "A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger." Family Bible Notes Pr 15:1Mild and conciliatory words often win those whom harsh and irritating language would only have driven farther from us. I have seen both types of witnessing, the kind and loving approach has always seemed to work best, is there a time for the other . We were once witnessing in a laundry mat. There was a big old fellow who did not like us being there and doing what we were doing. We went on by him and his wife and my partner began to talk with someone else. This "gentleman" approached us and began to speak in very unflattering ways. I turn to him and began speaking to him very calmly but very firmly, letting the Holy Spirit guide. He calmed down and went back to his wife and the precious soul my partner was witnessing to received Christ as Saviour. Another time we were witnessing and a fellow became very belligerent as a partner was witnessing to two young girls. He was not associated with them. I tried to talk with him in a deceit manner and he became even more aggressive. I bowed up with him (in a deceit manner) and he back away. Two more souls for Christ. It matters what the Spirit leads us to do. Standing at someones front door and presenting the Gospel to me is like someone wanting to enter my home. Be over bearing and forceful and forget it. Be pleasant and kind and loving. Well maybe not today, but if you come back I will be more receptive. How would you want someone to act at your front door?
  13. How can anyone produce such? He has been doing it from the beginning, "Yea hath God said..." This is part of the process to destroy our ability to win the lost to Christ. "How can I believe what you say, there are so many "Bibles" (sic) out there how do I or you know which is the right one?" WE must continue to stand on the KJB, and not draw back, or retreat or give in or up. Whether it is the Ebonics bible, the Jewish bible, or the ecumenical bible the NIV.
  14. This is a good sermon and a challenge to those who read it or have heard it.
  15. Kinda new to this, just found this site and still stumbling around tying to figure it out. Pastoring a church in the S. Valley of Albuquerque.

      Miss Linda

Welcome!! I was new to forums when I joined here too, and it did take a while to figure everything out. It seems a little overwhelming at first, but I know you will get it.
