I really like the plan of Salvation ones. I had to take my wife to the ER and I had one tract that covered the plan of Salvation. God put it in my heart to take it with me. I left it in the ER room after they cleaned it so when the next person gets there they will see it.They maybe in a bad way and lost and a family member may see it and get saved and the one who might die. I thought it was a good time to use one where people are down.

My wife and I have been having some marital prOBlems lately. She feels that I am not showing her enough affection and love. My defence was I was always making sure that the cleaning and housework was done before she arrived home from work so that she would not have to worry about it after working a long 10 hour day at work. Then I realized that I was going about it in a way that she didn't recognize that I was showing her love in doing this. So, lately I have been trying to tell her how much I love her and want to work things out because she felt that we weren't getting anywhere in our marriage and was considering leaving. We have been talking about a lot of things lately and at first I felt like she was pushing me away until last night when she told me that she loved me for the first time in quite a while. That made me feel great, but, and this is big, she receives numerous text messages on her phone and this was nothing uncommon for her but all of a sudden all of these messages were a secret. Its not that I didn't know who the messages were coming from it was the fact that I felt she was hiding something from me. So this morning I woke up early and looked at the messages on her phone. This was unable to happen in the past because any other time I looked the inbox and outbox would be empty. Now I realized that this was wrong because I was snooping but it just didn't make any since she had never hidden anything from me before. Also I did this while she was sleeping cause I figured this was the only time to look. Anyway when I looked at the messages on the phone not to my surprise there were several messages. When I read the messages I felt deeply hurt cause it sounded to me like this person was trying to move in on my wife. So out of anger I woke her up and began to question her, which I also figured out was the wrong thing to do. Long story short we got into an argument about this and in the end I realized that everything was harmless and I had interpreted it all wrong. Now I am in quite a pickle. Just when we start to make progress I questioned my trust for my wife and before she left for work this morning she asked me how we were going to fix me questioning my trust. To my dismay I had no answer for her. Now not only is she hurt from past issues here is a nothier one that we must try to work through. The only prOBlem is I dont know where to start.

I'll be praying for your church during the revival. May God move mightily among those present and throughout your community. We have revival coming up May 10-14 and I'm praying the same thing for us as well.

I would like to ask that you pray for our church Cross Roads. We are starting our Spring Revival on May 3-5. I ask and pray that we will have people who will come to Jesus and be saved. I also ask that we pray that the Holy Spirit will be present and be powerful for us this Sunday through the 5th. I visited a Baptist church today only to be surprised and disturbed at how they have a female Pastor known as Pastor Nancy. Not only that... found in their church pamphlet reads "Call to Worship", and directly underneath it reads:

The earth is at the same time mother,

she is mother of all that is natural, mother of all that is human.

She is the mother of all, for contained in her are the seeds of all.

All creation comes from it.

Yet it forms not only the basic raw material for humankind,

but also the substance of the Incarnation of God's son.

Btw, Hildegard of Bingen is a Catholic Nun. First of all, the earth is not a mother like the pagan concept of mother earth. Secondly, The Lord God Almighty is the source or origin of ALL creation, not the earth.





I wanted to puke when I read the pamphlet. I left the church and prayed that the hand of God's chastising judgment would fall upon this church. It's sooo difficult to find a biblical church these days. So sad....

Could someone please clarify your beliefs? I notice that you list several "false" religions. I am not disputing that most of the religions you list are in fact false; clearly I and the Bible refutes your idea of the church of Christ being a false religion.


But, to the point, do you believe that the IFB is the only true church? If not, what are some other true churches/religions?

My name is Anthony and I'm glad to be here. I hope my input will be helpful. I goto Cross Roads Baptist in Lawrenceville Georgia and we are IFB. We just had the Whisnants come to our church on Easter and in May 21 we will have the Primitive Quartet coming. I look forward to this. We also are starting our Spring Revival on the 3rd of May to the 5th with Dr.Scott Caudill and I'm looking forward to this also. God sure is blessing us as our bus misistry has grown to 50 children and we will have to get a full sized school bus. I think God that I will be able to help with this since I have my CDL's so I can drive the bus for the church. Well thanks and I will be posting again at other places. See you all soon.
