KJ didn't make the KJV. As titular head of the Anglican Church, he merely gave the Anglican clerics permission to make their new Bible version. It was called the KJV because his toadie, Archbishop Bancroft,  heaped lavish praise on KJ & credited him with things he didn't do with the new version.

So ya don't think it's a cult? Apparently you've never heard him preach about the "serpent seed", which basically sez that Eve had intercourse with ole Sneaky Snake when they met at the tree of forbidden fruit, and from this affair Cain was born; the kenites were Cain's descendants.

This is is direct contrast to SCRIPTURE, which sez the Kenites were part of the MIDIANITES, a son of Abraham's by his 2nd wife Keturah. Many of the Kenites joined with Israel during the Exodus, at Moses' invitation, and remained with Israel, though maintaining their own identity, for centuries. And Scripture always speax favorably of the Kenites. prominent among them war Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, Jael and her hubby Heber, Rechab, & his son Jehonadab.

Besides that, did any of cain's posterity survive the Flood? Not unless any of Noah's daughters-in-law were among them.

Murray believes in MODALISM, the false, anti-Scriptural concept that sez that GOD IS BUT ONE BEING, who assumes the office of Father, Son, or Holy Spirit as needed. Guess he never read Jesus' words, "My Father is greater than I" or about Jesus' baptism, where Jesus was physically present being baptized, the HOLY SPIRIT arrived in the form of a dove, separate from Jesus, and a voice boomed FROM HEAVEN ABOVE, "This is My BELOVED SON..." while Jesus and the Holy Spirit were in plain sight standing on the ground.

Murray said, on national TV: "You have these yo-yo's that will say, 'Well I want you to think like of water (sic) and ice' and so on, various gases or so forth, or then they'll say, 'I want you to think of a 200 watt bulb, and a 150 watt bulb, and a 50 watt bulb.' Well, they're all the same wattage, friend. So why not just simplify it instead of playing stupid games, and understand there are three offices of the Godhead. Like this little lady said. She said, 'To my husband I am a wife, to my children I am a mother, that's my office. To hundreds of third graders I am their teacher and have been down through the years. That's a different office; none of them the same, but I'm still the same person.' I like that. It's simple and to the point (The Shepherd's Chapel Question and Answer period, aired 6-4-91)."

    Apparently, Murray has never read, or ignores, Matt. 3:16; 17; 28:19; 2 Cor 13:14, Matt. 12:31, 32; John 1:1-14; 8:16-18; 14:16, 17, 23; 15:26; 16:28; 17:1-5.

He also teaches the false doctrine of annihilationalism, that is, there's no eternal hell & that the wicked will simply be made to cease to exist. This is yet another heresy that conflicts directly with SCRIPTURE.

These are just SOME of the false doctrines taught by Murray. And here's something else - just try to find out where he got his "doctorate degree"! The man is just simply LYING about having a doctorate! Why would a CHRISTIAN lie about this? (or ANYTHING, for that matter!)

Yes, this "ministry" is a dangerous cult reaching millions of homes thru their TV sets. Fortunately, mosta the viewers see it for what it is! Be forewarned & forearmed if you ever choose to watch the "Shepherd's Chapel" prog on your TV!

I had 2 friends die of covid; both were healthy before they got it.
I, personally, have been vaxxes against so many diseases I can't remember them all. While I was a USN corpsman & gave more than one vax to others, I was vaxxed against some jungle rots whose names I can't remember. Also, I get a flu shot every year, have had vaxxes against pneumonia, shingles, hep C, polio, DPT, tetanus, smallpox, CHICKEN POX, MUMPS,& rubella, as well as covid, & I have/had no ill effects besides a slightly-sore arm or butt for a day or so. And...I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY OF THE DISEASES I WAS VAXXED AGAINST, except rubella, chickenpox, & mumps when I was a child & the vaxxes against them hadn't yet been made.
And, my wife & I will get the 3rd shot of covid vax if any of our doctors recommend it. (We are in our 70s)

I tell them I'll listen to them only if they faithfully agree to listen to me after they've finished, telling'em I won't take more than 10 minutes unless they wanna hear more. When they finish, I ask, "Who do you say Jesus is?" & after hearing their answers that always deny His Divinity, I quote them verses from a REAL Bible showing He is God's Son & also God, along wit His Father & the Holym Spirit. Then, I quiote them the verses saying the ONLY one who can save them is Jesus, & what they MUST believe & do to be saved. Then, I quickly give them the history of their "New World Translation" & the fact it disagrees with their own interlinear version. And, as they leave, I tell them, "Remember you heard the ACTUAL GOSPEL Jesus preached here, & I'll be glad to tell you more " So far, no takers, but the JWs & LDS haven't come to my home for awhile. (Most likely labeled us hairy ticks to avoid)

Certainly not ruling out YOUR thoughts on this, but my belief is it could well be the antichrist's pawning himself off as Christ. After all he's gonna declare himself God, & have anyone killed whom he catches refusing to worship him & his statue, or taking his mark.
The rapture will have occurred by then, so there'll be very-few Christians to oppose his views & edicts, & they'll lead a perilous existence, as they can't buy nor sell, & being constantly hunted by the AC's secret police, or being 'ratted out' by other followers of the AC.  Thus, almost the whole population of the world will believe the lie that the AC is Jesus, & follow him-eventually following him into hell!

We see from Jesus' parable of the rich man & the beggar Lazarus that the temporary abode of the souls of the dead is divided into areas called 'Abraham's bosom' or 'paradise', & an area called 'torments'. Jesus plainly said He & the repentant thief would be in PARADISE that day.

Well, then, why does a shadow move when the object casting the shadow does not move? Because the LIGHT SOURCE moved !
But in Hezekiah's case, the object casting the shadow moved-the sundial moved, along with the whole planet !

That's common sense! And, of course, the writer of "Kings" didn't know how God moved it.

Recently, I received some news that was both sad and good. There was a married couple who were JWs  who worked holidays for us on the abbulance I worked in while I was laid off from the steel mill.
Recently, the lady died, & in her obit there was a pic of them standing in fronta a Christmas tree. And I saw where her service would be conducted by a BAPTIST pastor. While I hadn't seen them for several years, as they'd moved from the area, it appears they'd left the JW cult ! PRAISE GOD, that those people had abandoned that false religion !

God did NOT create anyone with the express purpose of sending them to hell with no chance for salvation.  After all, if everyone was already predestinated, why have Bibles, preachers, churches, etc? Why worship at all if one cannot change his/her predestination ?
Salvation is open to ALL LIVING. Can you name anyone for whom salvation is impossible ?

I don't believe the KJV  text should be changed at all. it should be the 1611 edition, as that was the original one, and all its makers are long-dead, freezing their work in time.
And I'd like to see the translators' preface, "To The Reader" included, as well as the Apocrypha placed between the Testaments, as the AV 1611 has.

Jesus is NOT "one of the chief princes".  Jesus IS the Chief Prince of angels, & every other celestial being except His Father.  Whoever started the idea that Jesus is Michael was simply wrong.

I showed'em, from my anti-Mor(m)on kit, some skinny about their two big kahoonas, Joey Smith & Brigand Young. And I advised them about some homes in my 'hood to avoid, such as my next-door neighbor, who had 5 pit bulls inside his fence, and a dope house a coupla blox away.

And I said, not wanting to be a male chauvinist, but there were other places around here that young women should not go on their own. Cultists or not, I wanted no harm to come to them, and who knows whether the HOLY SPIRIT caused the Gospel to take root in them? However, I've not had a JW or Mor(m)on come to my door for a few years now.

I don't think it's MANDATORY that one divorce a spouse for fornication, but it's certainly not sinful to do so. I believe it's great if a couple can work out the prob & stay together, with no further transgressions, but, of course, it's not always possible, Christian or not. I know people who have gone down both paths.

And I believe the non-fornicating spouse is free to marry someone else.

    MEANWHILE, BACK AT THE RANCH...
No one has ever shown me any credible source of intel about God from any source but Scripture. "Tradition", etc.  don't mean squat to me. I simply don't believe anyone's private interps of Scripture, any doctrines of faith/worship not found in Scripture at least by clear implication,  nor any of the modern "prophets" who stray from Scripture.  After all, the greatest REAL prophet of all, Jesus, repeatedly answered Satan with "It is WRITTEN..." & Satan had no answers.
