    2 funerals this week. Both ladies gone to be with the Lord. I'm so thankful for that, but we'll miss them.

    Whoooah! What a snowstorm! Most highways closed. Snow, ice and a complete whiteout. Church closed tonight.

      You got more than us, HC. LOL! I know. The driveway was nice and clear before yesterday. We haven't gotten anything else today. I am waiting for spring, too. I just want to get out and walk the dogs without having to worry about slipping on ice.

      Thanks, John. We have a lot of ice on the roads. We also have about 4 inches. My husband took my Jeep again to work today, b/c the weatherman said it was supposed to be the "Storm of all Storms." The only good thing is that it is only supposed to last 36 hours. Please pray for us up north while in church. Joe saw lots of accidents on the road and had to take a different highway home, and even then, not all the way. He took some side streets. It is slippery out there with snow and lots...

      I slept most of the day, yesterday. I am feeling much better today. I still have the cough and cold, but the body aches are gone. Yeah!

      I would, however, I have the Flu, now. I've had a sore throat since Christmas. Now, I have a head cold, sneezing, coughing, and body aches. My hubby called his parents last night. They told me to stay home. No one else wants what has been going around our small church for weeks, now.

    Black Friday! Appropriate name because there is no light it in. Takes away from what Christmas is really about. :(

      It sure is, sister! I don't know why people have trouble living in peace. As a little girl, my mom would call me the "peacemaker" of the family. And, since I grew up Roman Catholic, I wanted to help Mother Theresa in Calcutta, India. My dad wouldn't allow me to go to a 3rd World Country, though.
