  1. Happy Belated Thanksgiving to my fellow American citizens.  Hope everyone had a wonderful day with family and friends.  If you spent it alone, you surely weren't "alone" as Christ Jesus was with you.  God bless!

  6. I don't know what I would do without my sound IFB church. My pastor (s) "rightly divide the word of truth" and always have.

Amen, John! I can't thank the Lord enough for placing me in a Bible believing church that stands on the KJV without apology.

  7. It certainly is. It is very sad that I run into unforgiving Christians in this world. What kind of a testimony is that setting for the lost?

  8. I am so tired of the snide comments by Christians in this forum. If you have nothing kind to say, then don't say it. Thank you.

Amen, John! I had this scripture posted for awhile, in the status section, months ago.

Since we seem to often neglect what said there, it's a good verse to consider often.

Twice a week? That's a lot, EK. Three yes' is great! I will keep this in prayer.

  10. Enjoy your church service today, brothers and sisters in Christ. =)

  11. Whoooah! What a snowstorm! Most highways closed. Snow, ice and a complete whiteout. Church closed tonight.

You got more than us, HC. LOL! I know. The driveway was nice and clear before yesterday. We haven't gotten anything else today. I am waiting for spring, too. I just want to get out and walk the dogs without having to worry about slipping on ice.

  12. "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." ~ Romans 5:8

  13. "Ye have heard that it hath been said, THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOR, and hate thine enemy. 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them that despitefully use you, and persecute you;" ~ Matthew 5:43-44

  14. The First Epistle of John 1:7-10 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

  15. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless but believing. 28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. 29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." ~ John 20:27-29

  16. "And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." ~ Ephesians 4:32

  17. "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forebearing one another in love; endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."

Unity and bond of peace should be our aim as we walk in our vocation. Love it!

It sure is, sister! I don't know why people have trouble living in peace. As a little girl, my mom would call me the "peacemaker" of the family. And, since I grew up Roman Catholic, I wanted to help Mother Theresa in Calcutta, India. My dad wouldn't allow me to go to a 3rd World Country, though.

  18. Thank you for posting scripture, SFIC:)
