They are also two olive trees and two candlesticks so the whole thing must be symbolic.

Those verses don't have any relevance to the local church. One body means all the church. Christ only has one body. One bride, one temple all of which mean The church.  Jesus said he was building His Church,  not his churches. 2 Corr 2:16 "You are the Temple of the living God." One temple.

The greatest miracle today is Salvation where the sinner, dead in sins is raised to life in Christ.

Jesus CAN do a miracle anytime He wants - however, the miracles associated with the signs and wonders movement are false, and there are no miracle workers today, as those were the signs of an apostle, to give authority to the New Testament books that they were writing.
I know of some miracles today - like my sister's cancer vanishing completely inbetween one check up and the next. The doctors basically said there was nothing else they could do, as the treatments were not working. but the cancer scare got her attention and caused her to seek the Lord and be ready to receive the Gospel shortly thereafter.
Maybe some would call escaping a deadly accident a miracle - or the exact opposite situation: All being destroyed in the crash except the mother's BIble, or in another case after the van burnt up in a fireball, a Ron Hamilton cd with the song Rejoice in the Lord (he makes no mistakes) was found. That find had a tremendous impact on the highway workers that were cleaning up the road afterwards.

Same here in the US. I offer them work at the church and it has been declined 100% of the time. Too bad too, because it would have equaled to around $30 to $50 hour.

The word Christian means "Christ like". The RC church is anything but Christ like. I even hesitate to call it a church.

I don't agree with showing any visual representation of Christ, so I would not wish to see any film like that.

Candlesticks are identified as churches in the first chapter. Two being the lowest number of witnesses in the law. It refers to the minimum witness God had during the tribulation under the Roman "church ". Enough to keep a gospel witness in those dark days.

God uses nations to do what we call dictators to punish other nations, very often the israelites in the OT,
There is a YouTube chanel entitled 1420, which goe, s out in Russia asking passers by questions such as what do you think of Putin? the Ukranians? etc.
On a question of the What do you think of the West, 3 answered "They are all LGBT" one adding "They have 82 Genders,"  another said " They are Sodom."  One of the two signs of what it would be like when he returned, was, "As in the days of Lot"
David Cloud said, when many were campaigning  for gay rights,  "When homosexuals get rights, everbody else will lose theirs."
There is a case in Malta where a man gave his testimony and said when he became a Christian he gave up his gay life, which was published online, he was arrested for promoting "Conversion therapy" which is illegal in that country.  They are trying to get that law also in this country.  It is not going to get any better,  but will certainly get worse.  This case was reported on the Christian Concern web site, the man in Malta has his court case on 3rd of this month.

It was May who introduced gay marriage into our country. Johnson was elected  by a majority that wanted Brexit. He said he would get Brexit done. But we got Brexit in name only. We are still subject to the European courts. And many people want us to rejoin the EUSSR, or the 4th Reich. The Scotish  Nationalists want independence so the can rejoin the EU, but if the do the won't be independent.  Truss has come and gone and Sunak is likely to be our new PM.  But I don't trust him.

My mom wanted to go out for dinner today (lunch, really). But hubs didn't really want to, and son needs to save $ for the start of his married life. So...neither Mom nor I wanted to cook, so we opted for sandwiches, which is always a great hit for son and hubs likes them as well. Sandwiches it was. Mom made a tasty strawberry dessert to go with it.
Tonight after church will be leftovers and whatever we each pick and find. ?

Not sure what I am ha ing this evening. My wife has been on a strict diet for the last 2 days as she has an endoscopy tomorrow.  As she is a vegetarian the only things she has been able to eat are eggs, cheese, white bread and peeled potatoes.  From midday today she has not been allowed to eat anything.j

Lamb is expensive here as well. I usually buy leg steaks. They are about the same price as chops but without the bone so you get more meat for your money. They also do lamb rump steaks but they have a lot of fat on them. My daughter usually gets her meat from the local butcher shop and it is more expensive there. I get my groceries online now as I am no longer allowed to drive. The meat I got was diced lamb but is is very fatty. I don't use the same store each week. I use 3 or 4 different stores depending which ones have the best offer each week. We get our milk delivered from a local dairy farm and our eggs from the egg machine on a local poultry farm. My daughter is going there at the moment and I hope she is getting me some eggs. They only do 2 sizes, mixed weight in boxes of a dozen or trays of 30 or 6x30.  They also do meat and apple pies all made locally and various other goodies.
