The one question that I have to shake my head about is the guns.
11. Do you sleep with a gun for protection? I sleep with a 9mm pistols and 12 guage shot gun under my bed, a key in the gun safe to get ahold of the four guns in there ranging from 12 guage to 357 magnum revolver, 12 guage in the closet off the living room (trigger lock). We are fully loaded and ready for actions.
--How much do you trust in the gun to deliver you? I trust the gun to deliver me and children if someone breaks into my house when my husband is not home to protect me. We live in a rural area and had recently had several home envasions down the road. If I dont hit them with the 9mm the 12 guage will. I believe God gave me my two children to do what ever necassary to protect them from harm.

Another thing I dont believe in public education at all,, if I wanted to send them to be indoctrine against God they can get that from an atheist. We also dont believe in sending them to the local private schools due to the fact there is no difference between how the kids dress and public school kids.

We do have regular tv and netflix. We watch a total of 3 hours of TV time a day.
We give as much as we can to others and God but also being able to provide for our childrens needs. The reason why I say that we know of one couple that gave everything to the church including their time and their children had no clothes and very little food to eat. So I think that God expects you to take care of your children and then give the rest to others.

We have several electronics. We have cellphones and an landline phone. Today hubby had an propane tank to start leaking and he called me to let me know.
We dont own a boat or anyother toys like that but we did have but we sold them. As soon as they became a problem that cut into our time with God and family we got rid of them.

I do know one model because they talked about her on the news Lauren Scruggs, she walked into an plane propeller while it was still on.
We dont keep up with the current fashion we look for what covers us up and isnt to tight.

Yes we do have friends that are unsaved but we have witnessed to them about God. We dont run around with them but maybe meet up to do dinner once or twice a year. We are not here to witness to saved people we are here to witness to the lost.

I vote for the ones that follow as many as my beliefs and the economy has no affect on who I vote for.

If my daughter was raped I would not encourage her to marry her rapist. If what you say is true children under the age of 12 should be forced to marry their rapist.

Also the comment about a bastard being unable to go to heaven or in church, then I dont think I would want to go to heaven without my husband. His mother didnt even know or was able to tell him who is real dad is before she was killed. Hubby is a professed chirstian so I think God died for all men and women on earth.

We discuss how there was a man that delivered toys to children along time ago. We really talk about mainly how God sent his son to die for our sins. We dont tell our children that santa brought them anything. I teach my children to be thankful for the present of Jesus coming to save all men. Encouraging children in believing in someone that isnt real isnt good but to each their own. We all have to answer to God what we choose to teach our children. We tell our kids that fairy tales is make believe. If some would read the real fairy tales then they would be shocked. When I went to public school we had to read the real fairy tales and I didnt want any part of them. I dont send my child to public school due to what they teach so I sure wouldnt bring the stuff into my home.

Of course this is how we manage our home.

Hahaha. Noah's sons were all the same color! Since when has anybody had an Asian, a White, and a Black kid???? Races were formed at the Tower of Babel when God confounded the language. He got to choose who spoke what language...these groups got together and moved away, thus narrowing the gene pool of each group. Then, both external and internal attributes were given to each group of people, similar to selectively breeding new and unique breeds of dogs. God in His foreknowledge probably confounded the languages and genetics along the lines of the children of Noah...however to say that each of Noah's kids was a different color is silly. I suppose each wife was a matching color, too, to each son? Because otherwise it would have watered down those "pure" colored genetics!

And yes I do believe firmly that behemoth and leviathan were dinosaurs. The fossil record proves that dinosaurs existed, and the descriptions in the Bible, when taken literally (with no reason NOT to) describe dinosaurs very, very well.

The Bible says that God "hath made of ONE blood all nations of men, to dwell upon all the face of the earth...." We are all of one blood. The only guideline for who to marry or who NOT to marry is that we don't marry animals, we don't marry the same gender, and we don't marry a non-Christian if we are saved. Any time God restricted the Israelites not to marry someone it was because of their beliefs, not their color. Ruth was a Moabitess and she was able to be in the line of Christ because her BELIEFS changed, not her nationality. Rahab also.

I thankful that I can watch my children grow and learn. I am also thankful for a husband that works very hard so I can be in the place God wants me to be.

I have made up my mind. I see no need to change anything. If someone does have a question, they are more than capable of asking.

We have two Toshiba laptops, one dell desktop, Iphone(refurbished) and samsung rugby. We even have a landline phone

The children are allow to play only approved computer games and we have a internet filter through internet provider. They are not allow to have a computer in their rooms at all. They play on the computers were everyone can see them. We as parents ourselves do not take the computer to our room. They will get cellphones when they are old enough to drive for emergency. Personally for me I dont think a kid needs a cellphone to talk to friends or text to friends if they are not even driving age or allow to hang out. I know of 5 year olds with cellphones. Of course according to my family, our kids are going to be in bad shape since not only are they not allow to do or have what is stated above but we homeschool as well. :biggrin:

I recall when the Taliban were running Afghanistan and they destroyed several budda statues because images of false gods was an afront to Islam, America and many other Western nations raised great alarms. There were calls for aid to the poor budda followers of Aftghanistan, plans to raise money and work to get the statues restored, great cries of anguish from world leaders.

Now we have Christians driven out of the country or underground, their churches destroyed, and what do we hear from the American president or other world leaders? Where is the outpouring of aid and assistance to the Afghan Christians?

One thing is clear, the Taliban were at least serious about their religion, the followers of Islam in Afghanistan now are too. What a shame America is ashamed of Christ and America's leaders are beyond ashamed of Christ.

I have been told since I had kids by my grand parents and older christians. YOu have to build the house from the foundation up. If you dont build the foundation on the rock of christ how can you expect it to hold up to the wind of the devil. We dont introduce other religions and will continue to not until our children learn what we believe first. I think that is were we can go wrong as a parent by not teaching and standing for what we believe in first before adding in other religions.

Why confuse the child......teach them early from the KJV, and teach them that the KJV is the only Bible he/she should be reading.
