BlessedChristianlady8 got a reaction from Pastor Matt in sick
    Hello
I been very sick the last two months, the week of Christmas I had my gallbladder out with emergency surgery.   The last few weeks I had low energy and trying to gain strength.  I was told by the surgeon day before Surgery that I had gallbladder disease for several years that is is why I been sick and going to ER several times.  I have so much in medical debt because some surgeons didn't want to take it out sooner. I just want prayer for healing and the Lord's will to get better so i can find a part time job so i can pay off my debt.

yeah I am I was sick near Christmas of 2016 the first Christmas without our dad but my sister took Christmas and she just moved into a nice house.
I wanted too go see it and within a week of Christmas i fell ill thought it was the flu and all or gallstones, I healed up a bit , thought I was ok and i went too her Christmas get together ate everything great.  The next day i started too vomit again and not hold anything down. I told my husband to take me too another ER which is one of my favorites and they were fast and able to determine what was going on and referred me to good doctors.

Yes i agree, i kinda word things a wrong way, it was mixed i did have feelings for him but at the same time , i decided that i needed to control myself, i wanted this man part of my life because he was special too me knowing each other since were small kids, it just like a brother too me ... However , the way i explained too people about how i cared and loved him , people took it the wrong way...  I am just concerned about him decieving other woman like he was doing...    There are some things i can answer but , i would only do that through pm because some things happened that i prefer pms with it but, other then that i am concerned about this mans salvation.

    Hello This is KJVKayBeliever ,
I know i been not handling this forum with political issues in the past and i was convicted alot ... However, i am back and i am with a heavy heart..
Last month was a very trying time with my husband and I , losing a friendship of many years, then we heard his father passed away in TN and and then on last weekend of march my own father had a heart attack and died sudden, its been a rough few months for both of us and i am asking for prayers and strength .  My dad was a much needed man and  well known in the area ,its hurting several areas of my state and across the country...   My mom is going through both grieving and being in shock...
Also i don't now where the Lord wants to use me , i tried to go back to work but, no one wants to hire me and i am very discouraged with that..
    Thanks for your time.

I will also pray for you and for your family...that you will know without doubt the Lord's leading and will concerning your present circumstances.  My heart goes out to you because of your recent loss; I just lost my dad last September.  As I lift you up in prayer, I shall ask that you will also know how the Lord wants to use you to His glory through the trying times.  May you know the comfort and greatly sense the Lord's presence and love.

A Christian child should not have a mohawk but, if the son wants it and has a great heart and living for God , I don't see why not, there are other issues in a persons life and decisions that people need to worry about children.  I think a 5 year old don't understand why a mohawk is bad.

I just got informed that one of my friends just got baptised in the Mormon Faith and saying they can't have thier families there because the marriage in the Mormon church is not death to us part. Anyhow she don't want me to debate with her and this is the one that was Wiccan a few months ago. I just keep them in prayers and just show Christian love to people that disagrees with me.

By what you say, being a Christian means little anymore either.

Yes, Baptist means a lot, I'm one by choice, & I would not be part of a nondenominational church.

The Baptist are nothing like many other denominations, each church's Head is Christ, independent of all other Baptist Churches. We are nothing like most protestant churches, for most protestant churches do not heed the Holy Scriptures having only the Bible as its guide.

Here is some study helps, that will help you with this matter.

Agreed. Some people only hear Christians carrying on about how terrible everything is, talk about politics and the economy. All too often that's all the lost hear from Christians. They don't hear about hope in Christ, they don't hear the Gospel, they don't hear the testimony of how Christ is leading them through these difficult times or how Christ has led them through tough times in the past, they don't hear of the blessed hope of Christ's return.

I think for the most part, many Christians during presidential election years cry just as long & loud as the unbelievers &false teachers when we actually should be content with such things we have as Paul stated to us. I firmly believe that many of us Christians lose our Christian testimony because of this.

Php 4:11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
1Ti 6:8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

BlessedChristianlady8 reacted to John81 in Question - Are Baptists Protestants?
Yes, and the only thing Christians are told to refuse to obey are orders that go directly against the Word. Also, we see that Christians are to live in peace, not rebellion against governments of all kinds, not fighting the system, rather letting Christ live in them and allowing the working of God and His Spirit to bring about change.

Paul, even while declaring his innocence, stated that if he had broken any of the laws he would gladly submit to punishment.

Christians are called to let the light of Christ shine forth in their lives, to spread the Gospel, make disciples, care for the needy and allow the Holy Ghost to work through them in this to bring about God's will. We notice the early Christians did this and their enemies stated they were turning the world upside down! How were they radically changing the world they lived in? It wasn't by rebellion, fighting the government, getting into positions of power, or any other worldly means. The early Christians radically changed their world by obeying Christ in how they lived. We should do the same.

Many believe that the Catholic church (Roman) is the "great whore" of Revelation. If this is true, then all her children (protestants) are illegitimate children, and Baptist is not among them. Most all churches sprang from the "Mother Church" (Catholic) and carried a bit of her doctrine with them. We still dispute about infant baptism, transubstantiation, and many foolish doctrines among, and with, the Protestant movement. Baptists stand alone in doctrine and separation, etc.,and always have. (True Baptists, every one has exceptions)

For the record, I too believe that the Catholic Church is the great whore, drunk with the blood of the saints. If you would like to read more about it, get the book "Fox's Book of Martyrs", I believe it is still available. It is depressing, but documented as factual.

I have been in a few churches over the years that used CCM music but they turn it into Choir and hymnal sounding and it sounded pleasent and it wasn't entertainment. I think it varies at each church what their motives are with using CCM music or alike. I do like traditional hymns and songs and ETC however at times I do like some modern songs to make a person think before a sermon is preached. I never felt it was for entertainment and each song that was sung CCM and southern gospel or traditional hymn brought me too the alter to pray to think , your singing to the Lord Jesus Christ and what difference does it make ifs old fashioned or modern Christian music? I agree that we should not entertain in churches but, at the other side of the spectrem some songs are oked because it sings about the Lord and the truth.
As for the Chris Tomlin Song Amazing Grace the chains are gone, he added that because the original writer(look it up to call me out) had wrote that in but he left that out for some reason. Its just talks about that the chains of sins is and are gone and Christ has forgave the person.
