Otto is doing better, but both his parents have been hit with it. I haven't checked today, but yesterday it was pretty miserable for them. I wish I could take Otto just to help them out, but I can't risk his bringing it here and infecting any of us (especially my almost-85-year-old mom).

No offense to you, John - but Stephen Anderson is one person you should NEVER recommend. He is a false, blasphemous teacher who has ruined his family and his (and other) churches. He is not someone you should look towards for any doctrinal issues. He is so full of hatred and is a dangerous extremist - denying the holocaust, denying homosexuals can get saved (despite 1 Corinthians 6:9-11), among other issues.

It's awful when babies get sick as there is not much they can do to communicate. We're praying for the little guy.

Same here. Our only grandchild is 7 months old.

His fever has stayed down since coming home from the ER last night, praise the Lord! Mom and Dad are pretty sick right now, though. I'm gonna be making some chicken soup on Monday and bringing it over there and dropping it off. 
 

My 6 month old great nephew was diagnosed with c*vid last night. His fever was 103.3 AFTER Tylenol. He was throwing up in his sleep last night also. Fever seems to have broken for now and he is sleeping well. Please pray that God will touch his little body and heal him. AND that God will reach his mom and dad through this. His name is Otto. And he's a precious wee one. Thanks in advance.

Now his mommy has it. 
He's doing a bit better; fever broke earlier. I haven't heard anything tonight, but wouldn't be surprised if the fever was back. 
Otto is on the right.  Three months younger than Asher, but already a bit bigger (his daddy is bigger than Asher's daddy).

Fever came back with a vengeance. They are back at the ER.

My wife had her nuclear stress test Friday, and it didn't go well. I had my yearly with our cardiologist yesterday, and he put me on new medication. I don't have to undergo any surgical procedures yet, thank the good Lord. But, the doctor did discuss my wife's test results. They show that she may have several blockages. So she's now scheduled for an arteriogram on February 20th. They'll see if she needs stents or bypass surgery. 
This has been a very trying time for.my wife and I over the past year. We've both had to undergo extensive testing leaving us with quite a bit of debt, even with insurance paying their parts. We are seriously praying about whether or not we need to move back home to Augusta Georgia, or just stay put. There are many pro's and cons with each. Please pray for us to know what the Lord would have us to do.

Also, foot washing in the Bible is symbolic of forgiveness - forgiving our brethren. Forgiving unrepentant homosexuals (there are several presented in the ad) etc. does not fit Jesus’ message.

Unfortunately, this is becoming too common. Metal illness needs to be address in our society today, and that should start in our Christian homes.

Perhaps you can find a missionary to talk to.

Two of my grandchildren got saved this week. They could not wait to Facetime with Grammy and Grampy to tell us all about it. All five of my children are raising their kids in church just like we raised them. I am so undeserving!

In our area, people just leave churches of all stripes. lol. Cuz the mountains and the trees are enough "church" for them.  (a wee bit of sarcasm there, but based in complete truth). I've not heard of any celebrating going on when folks leave.

Heaven will be less about gilded streets and beautiful scenes and more about being in the presence of God. We should spend as much time with Him now as possible.

I had my right hip replaced in 2012. Now my left hip will occasionally give me a sharp pain. I have fallen a few times because of it. Getting old is not as much fun as I had expected. 🙂

Yeah, people leave all sorts of churches but for some reason leaving an IFB church gets extra publicity. A lot of times it's like you said they can worship God while hunting, fishing or going to the football game which, of course they never do.
