  1. We're very small. I'd say we run 20 to 30 normally.

It sounds like we were running around 200 twenty to thiry years ago. Some of the pastors since then decided to take the focus off of Jesus Christ and scared almost all of the church members away. Our current pastor has put the focus of the church back where it should be, squarely on the Lord. Now we are growing again, slowly but surely.

  2. Does anybody have any suggestions concerning a new host for our church website?

The original designer of our website had it hosted from o-f.com because it was free. Unfortunately, our free site means that we have pop-ups and outside advertising on our site, which we would like to eliminate. Our church and budget is small, so we would like to keep the cost under $10/month.

We have a small website, so we don't need a large amount of storage. Also, we will be registering and using a new domain name which is a little easier to remember. Our website is basically informational, so we really have no need for the ability to have email accounts or any type of web-commerce.

I really don't know much about different web hosts, so I'd really appreciate any advice you guys can give. Obviously, we would prefer not to support any host that hosts so-called "adult" sites or anything like that. (I realize we probably won't find a "perfect" host.)

  3. Matthew 7:22-23
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

I was going to post these exact verses. The Lord used Matthew 7 to show me I was lost when I truly thought I was saved.
  4. God has blessed me with the ability to play the clarinet. Since our church is so small, we don't have anybody who plays the piano very well. I seem to be the only faithful person who is somewhat accomplished on an instument, so I get to play my clarinet while we are singing our hymns.

I didn't have any idea as a lost student in a public school that God was preparing me in my band classes to be used of Him in the future. I'm just glad I get to use a talent He has given me to serve Him.
