And what does tolerance & acceptance do? It encourages them to stay in their sin, be bold about their sins, & encourages others to join in into that sin or sins. And it also causes them to call out those who hold to God's truths as being unloving & uncaring.

He is in North Carolina for now, but he feels he will not be there very long. With so many troop fixing to go to Afghanistan, that opportunity seems quite good. When he came home Thanksgiving to get his car it took him about 17 hours to drive it. At present time all seems to be going well. Come February he will have 1 whole year.

Eze 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
Eze 28:16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

Somewhere is there I remember reading the words 'wrong doing was found in you,' I disagree with that, it was clearly 'iniquity,' 'sin,' seems in modern day there's a movement to remove the words, iniquity and sin. The truth is sin and iniquity was found in him.

"Yahweh learned immediately after creating this unique being, that he will exercise his free will against Yahweh. "

I 100% disagree with this from that site, our all knowing God has never learned anything, why do I say that, because He has always been all knowing.

I too would suggest its a site to stay away from.

    Billy Graham

Attended Reformed Presbyterian Church as a youth with his parents & while attend it he claimed to have been saved.

The Presbyterian Church claims one is saved because of grace, yet they hold to lots of the same teaching of the RRC & Lutheran, that this saving grace is extended though baptizing & the Lord's Supper.

I had been told that he grew up as a Baptist, that was not true, it seems his 1st experience with Baptist was the 1st church he was pastor of was 1st Baptist Missionary Church of Western Springs in IL.

Now I understand where he was coming from in accepting false teaching about being saved, & joining together will the Catholics, Pentecostals, Lutherans, & so on.

No doubt, back in that day the Catholics tried to wipe out Jesus' New Testament Churches. They tried their best, but you cannot win when you fight against God.

IF, that is IF, they had succeed there would not be none of us Baptist around today. For that was the people they hated. Our forefathers would not accept their baptizing, would not accept infant baptizing, because of that along with the refusal to convert many faithful believers were drug out of their houses, & told they would die if they refused to convert. Those that refused were beaten, stoned, & burned at the stake. They also tried their best to destroy all records of us, & went so far as to try & rewrite history. They wanted to wipe us totally out of the history books wanting to become "The Church," trying to make it so that anyone wanting to know about God would have to come to them.

They did not know God in those days, & they still do not know God, they're a very evil bunch & if they thought they could get by with it they would go back to trying to kill us off the face of this earth. They would love nothing better than to rule the world. Their father is the devil, & they do the works of their father. If there are any saved people within the Roman Catholic Church God says to them, "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty."

2Co 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 2Co 6:15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 2Co 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 2Co 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 2Co 6:18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Some Christians get stuck right there at the very beginning of Scripture with the creation account and just what is meant by "day". We even have a couple in our church that can't come to accept that in creating time God created the literal 24 hour day and created the earth just as stated in Genesis, in 6 literal days.
Naturally, not accepting a creation day as a literal 24 hour day causes them many other problems, including aspects of young earth vs old earth, matters involving evolution, Noah's ark, dinosaurs, the wide variety within species, and the amount of time Jesus spent in the tomb (among other things).
It seems there is a growing issue among many Christians in this area with regards to matters of time. Depending upon the conclusion a person comes to on this can greatly impact how they view a wide variety of things in Scripture. Some views, if taken to their logical conclusion, would even place the Scripture itself in question.
As to the time Jesus spent in the tomb, I believe it was just as stated in Scripture and the plain, simple understanding is accurate.
If I recall correctly from readings years ago, it was the RCC which began the short, partial time in the tomb with their invention of "Good Friday". In that view Jesus was barely in the tomb before Friday ended but they still call that one day; then Jesus spent all of Saturday in the tomb but was only in the tomb for a brief portion of Sunday which they count as a day. That view doesn't match the literal meaning of what Scripture says.

This has always been a problem for many, & those who have a problem with it never seem able to leave it alone.

They say, it has to be exactly three, 3, days, & exactly three, 3, nights, not one second more, not one second more.

I'm of the persuasion that it was 3 days & 3 nights, back in my truck driving days of cross country trucking most of the time I was gone for at least 5 to 7 days before returning home. Yet once in a while I would make a very short trip & be gone for 3 days & three nights. When I was gone for 3 days & 3 nights it means, I left today & I was gone from home 3 different days & 3 different nights, not necessarily a complete & exact precise 72 hours. Yet not being gone an exact precise 72 hours does not mean I was not gone from home 3 days & 3 nights.

I know that I will get brow beaten by many for saying this. It just amazes me how some can be so critical about this period of time, yet seem to use as much liberty as they can gather up in their Christian walk on other subjects, issues, doctrines.

But I will not debate this issues with them, I will just let them set around & debate it among their selves & or with those that want to debate this issue. And I will not say not one thing sassy or bad about them behind their back nor to their face.

Jon 1:17 Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

Mt 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Yes, Jonah was in the belly of that big fish 3 days, & 3 nights, yet that does not mane he was in that fish belly for an exact 72 hours.

Back years ago the wife & I would go camping once in a while at the lake, many times we were gone three days & three nights, yet we were not gone an exact 72 hours. Probably never were gone an exact 72 hours. Wow, I really enjoyed those days. We had a ski boat, & that was much fun. And thankfully we had some good friends that enjoyed the same type of fun we did & that made it more enjoyably. Of course I was younger back them, & that was before I had much neck trouble, along with a couple of neck surgeries. So now I could not enjoy being gone 3 days & 3 nights from home sleeping in a tent on a pallet on the ground nor skiing behind a boat.

I sure look forward to that day spoken about in this verse.

Re 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

I look forward to all of them, but more especially pain, I guarantee you, living in pain sure does change a person, & until a person has lived it day to day they cannot understand it.

God is great, the best is yet to come for those who have Jesus, & for those who don't have Jesus, this is as good as it gets.

I never will forget finding this board. I was fresh off having stopped posting on a Baptist board that had been invaded by 3 Catholics. They proceeded to tell us Baptist that we were 100% wrong. I had put up with them for over a years, finally getting tired of it, & stopped posting.

One thing for sure, no matter what one does, that certain type of people will come along & try to break up any unity, pushing the doctrine that Pastorj spoke of in his last post. It will be a never ending battle, the old Devil will see to it that those types keep on coming.

Once years ago I came across a church group that lives a few miles from me, I asked to join that group. they told me that this group was only for church members of their church. At the time is aggravate me, yet after I thought it out I understood where they were coming from. Keeping it limited to only their church members, people thye know. keeps out the element that Pastoj speaks of.

I disagree with some issues that Bro. Matt, Pastorj, HappyChristian, maybe another one or 2 stands for, they disagree with some that I stand for. Yet neither do they or I look for any & every opportunity to push these things. And it seems to me when it does come up we state our beliefs, them leave it there. Sad thing is some refuse to do that, they seem bent on making opportunities to bring certain issues up.

The thing is, on Halloween & other un-Christian things, many Christians do not want to hear the truth about them, they have their mind made up, its fun, entertaining, I will not give it up. And of course their thoughts towards those that do usually are not very good.

Maybe they do not have ears to hear with when it comes to church things. All we can do is try to inform them, them let the Holy Spirit do its part, that is if they're sensitive to the Holy Spirit. For some their heart gets harden on some or even many issues.

I would never allow a son of mine to have a Mohawk hair cut, its all about rebellion. To teach your children right from wrong you will have to say no many times. If you start now, you will have to say no less later on. If you let him keep doing things of rebellion now, later on the word no will never stop him.
