  1. I hear you Chelle. I always think I am going to walk down to church, but somehow it never happens. It is just too easy to jump in the van and ride down the road.
  2. To LAF, yes , I make my own lasagna. My husband only likes my recipe. I like the frozen varieties, but have to please my man. One thing I do that saves alot of time is to buy "oven ready" lasagna that requires no boiling. To Julie, Thank you for posting the recipe I requested. It sounds delicious and I am definitely going to try it. Our lunch yesterday was chili chip bake (a Mexican casserole) and taco rice.
  3. We live about 2 minutes from our church. I love being so close!!!
  4. Julie, your Itlaian chicken and peppers with angel hair pasta sounds delicious. Could you post the recipe? Last night we had lasagna, garlic toast and salad.
  5. I usually put a pork or beef roast in the crockpot. My husband runs a bus route so I come home and prepare the side dishes to go with our meat and by the time he gets off the bus our meal is ready to eat.
  6. Thanks, Stacey, it sounds good. My kids would love it. We really like anything that has a Mexican flair to it. Last night I made homemade enchiladas. It is my son Caleb's favorite meal!!
  7. Roast pork, mashed potatoes and gravy, salad, and squash. Stacey, how do you make your frito pie?
  8. Since yesterday was Memorial Day, we went to T.H. for the day to visit with my parents and to visit the graves of my aunt and grandparents. We grilled out and had hamburgers, hotdogs, macaroni and cheese and corn on the cob. Dessert was DQ
  9. Last night was country fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and broccoli.
  10. Last night we had cheddar smoked sausage, seasoned rice and corn.
  11. We had "breakfast" for dinner. Bacon, scrambled eggs with cheese and hash browns. I don't have time in the mornings to fix a big breakfast, so sometimes we have it at night.
  12. Yes, Praise God, both of my parents are saved. My dad was saved as an 8 yr. old boy and my mom was saved shortly after my parents got married. I have been in church all of my life (including before I was born :)
