I forgot and when I went home to visit in Indiana... I ordered tea...... YUCK!!!! They do not sweeten their tea....
It was not until we hit Kentucky on the way home that I was able to get sweet tea.

I have most of those mentioned. I also have a food processor, comes in pretty hany sometimes.

Grilled cheese.... but I have been seeing quite a few monte cristo sandwiches being made on the food network shows, so I think I will try one of those next. Hubby is picky, so don't know if he will like them or not :roll

Talking animals are really dangerous for child development, it blurs the line between human- and animal kind. It opens door for evolution and animal activism. I know people who are deep in sin because of talking animals, it can lead to all sorts of problems. I saw a Microsoft Agent page which had a talking animal character on it, I was pondering is is bad or good, from reading this board I can bring to my mind to its conclusion that those things are not good. To same category I would add all of human like animal drawings. I personally like cartoon art in my flesh but all things must be resisted. "1 Thessalonians 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil." I do not see how talking animal characters or other human like animals could be good instead of evil because God has made men and God has made animals and combining them is not good. There are few talking animals in the Bible, Serpent is from power of Satan and the donkey from power of God, when God did it, it was a miracle which testified for power of Lord, cartoons, fairy tales and art trivialize it, it shows that animal could talk without some kind of supernatural power thus bringing children's mind in wrong conviction about the uniqueness of man. I have seen that from experience how people can get on wrong tracks from such things.

Besides the piano or organ.... what are appropriate instruments to have in church? I know the drums are out, but what about stringed instruments, brass etc.... the reason that I am asking is that the church that we are attending has an elderly man that plays the guitar with some of the songs and special music, and I just love it. Just wondered what your thoughts were?

Does anyone have the words to a song that I really like.... Not sure how it starts, but it says "there's a sweet sweet Spirit in this place, and I know that it's the Spirit of the Lord." We sang it in chapel at HAC, and I can't remember the rest :

With a busy work schedule... I am on the hunt for some tried and true casserole recipes. I am really wanting some that I can make the night before, and my hubby can put them in the oven the next day before I get home. That way we aren't eating at 8pm :? Does anyone have some casserole recipes that they would like to share?

My husband and I have found an IFB church that we really like. We have started attending there. We visited there when my parents were in town for the holidays. It is Springmore Baptist Church, in Boiling Springs, NC the Pastor is Chad Jones.... he is out of Ambassador Baptist College. Yay!!! It has been a really long time coming :oops:
