  2. DH wants to know... He thinks E should come after D. I said it was because F stands for failing. He said that A-D don't have a word that goes along with it. He also said that where he went to school, (WV...I don't hold that against him ) they used E along with A-D and F. I honestly have never heard why but did find a reasonable explanation after doing a Google search. Some schools use E between D and F and call it a passing fail. It is failing but because of the student's effort, they are passed anyway. Also, Elementary grades usually use a progressional grading system where E
  3. I told dh yesterday that it seems like there are so many interesting and fun things to do in Autumn: Hay rides Bonfires Fairs Corn mazes and in this area, air shows and hOT air balloon festivals. Also, when I woke up this morning, it felt like "coffee weather". It was a little chilly.

  5. No, "preview threads" is when you can hold your mouse of a thread title and the first couple of sentences appear w/o you having to click on it.

  7. This is very "bare bones". You can see the styrofoam in this pic. He has done quite a bit more since this pic was taken. When you have four kids clamoring to see the trains go... Eventually, there will be mountains, tunnels, etc.
  8. Thanks, holster! The set he is building is HO. He has said before that he would like to upgrade in the future to a larger scale but that would be in the distant future. If I can find some pics, I'll post what he has done so far.
