  1. Yes it is a shame, they bring shame to God and Jesus plus they put a big stumbling block in front of the lost people.

Ecc 8:11 Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

This is why he should have been hung behind the courthouse from a tree limb after conviction.
  2. Drug use is a victimless crime? Come with me for a night of patrol and you will never think that way again, especially after a guy amped up on meth hits and kills a kid on a bike.

When they overdose the families are not affected? Come with me when I have to tell a wife and kids that daddy died with a needle in his arm.

We have plenty of good laws, they just need to be enforced.

The real cure of course is Jesus, but we know that, or we should.

  3. Wow, I so would have lost my jOB as a Deputy if I had denied to go to that man's residence. There needs to be several people lose thier jOBs including some supervisors.

I have responded to these types of calls several times. When the snow is too deep we call a snow plow driver out of bed and ahe clears our way or we walk in. This incident was completely unacceptable.

  4. Praying specifically and within God's will according to the scriptures. Such as trials, recognizing that they can come according to God's will, and to get through them not aroound them as an example...

    That has helped me.

  5. Funny thing Kayla my wife and I were just talking about FB... I was dead set against it then opened an account about 3 months ago. I am going to keep using it but have cut my time way back.... Its too easy to sit on it for hours and not even realize it. So, i just set time limits... but leaving FB altogether like you did is not a bad idea either. Good on you for taking charge of your life and not letting a computer program run it.

  6. I dont know of any good books on the issue. What I do know is you will find a host of opinions among IFB people. Pretty much avoid anything that could lead to fornication.. A great way is be in the company of others when out... things like that. Sorry I could not help more. I will look and see if I can find anything that would be worth reading.

  7. After 21 years in law enforcement, I believe surviellance is needed, however the methods and reasons for it are going to far in some cases, opening the door for innocent people to become targets... I guess its what comes with an imperfect system in an imperfect world.

  8. When I got saved 16 years ago, my change was radical in so many areas. Sin was and always will be a battle but the changes made my friends question who I was. They told me they could not wait till I was out of my RELIGIOUS STAGE. 16 years later, guess im still in it.

Just let the Lord lead and he will lead you and mould you.
