While I agree with your statement, I must first find out why a person is obese, is it from gluttony or a medical condition. I'm pretty sure gluttony is what you were referring to in which I agree.
As part of my message a few weeks back I talked about gluttony, a few comments came from the crowd that said, "Oh, boy...here we go".  It's a sin in the Bible, I'll preach it just as hard as other sins.

I boil these questions down to "would I want my kids to do this". And usually biblical wisdom will provide me the appropriate answer.

There has been a few things that I've heard Steven Anderson preach that I never heard before. He seems to receive special Biblical Interpretation from God, which means the Bible is of a private interpretation.

Please pray for my friend Laurie. Her husband Doug died of Covid-19 this morning, Saturday, October 10th. Doug was also a friend. We found we had a number of things in common. Both of us were in the Army in Germany when the Berlin Wall was built in August 1961. We both were in interested in history. Put Laurie, and all wives and husbands who have a spouse suffering with Covid-19.
    Thanks.

I'm sorry, but I would have to disagree with you here. Not about getting the vaccine, which is up to the individual, but about "no kind words" for those who "for religious reason" won't get them. Their reasons for NOT getting vaccines are just as valid as your reasons FOR getting them. Were you not the one who said earlier, "Each, according to the dictates of one's own conscience"? The two postings do not match...
And I gotta say - comparing Jesus' - the Creator of the universe- healings to manmade vaccinations? Nah. Just nah.

Hello All, this is a general rundown of my relationship with Christ.
I was born to a single mother who was never there for me emotionally. I watched her cycle through men until she eventually married a man when I was 8.
Before her marriage I grew blissfuly unaware of how my life was. My mom and my grandmother attended a very liberal church, Presbyterian with a female pastor. My mom was an occasional weekend warrior church attender all through my youth. God was spoken of very little in the house, and when it was, it was soft. Back as a child I became very worldy, I found provocative material at 12 and became addicted to it's lure. I was malnourished and addicted to video games as well until my 20s.
The man she married was unsaved, and his children where very bad influences in my life. 2 brothers, one became a homosexual and the other became drug addicted and homeless. The homosexual was my friend growing up, we where close in age and had similar birthdays. But I knew something about him was wrong. My mom fully supported him. Unfortunately I knew why he became that way. The other brother did things against his will and I was a witness. Their sister made him crossdress for her when he was a pre-teen. These people brought witchcraft ( pagan rituals and uigi boards ) and I learned about the demonic realm at the age of 9.
Our parents divorced shortly after they had a baby. This was in 2009 when the financial crisis hit. My mother was unemployed and we lived off child support and goverment funding, food banks etc. I have many memories of starving while going to sleep. And having no power. She finds herself back in the cycle of men, all these things in my life continue on while Im being force fed liberal Christianity. I had a strong prayer life. But I truly did not know the Lord. Our financial situation slightly straightens up as I enter highschool, my mother found an abusive logger to help supportbus. He never physically harming us, but emotionally and verbally abused us. Calling names, threatenings etc.
All through the time of my youth from the age of 11 till I was saved I was borderline suicidal.  My school life was no different, I felt like an outcast as I was an outcast in my own house. I didn't know how to be, so I turned to drugs at the age of 12. I smoked weed off and on for a long time. I turned to the bottle when I could at the age of 15. I alwas knew there was something better, and I looked for it starting at the age of 16. I did a lot of studying at my house ( as I never went to school ) and tried to fix my self through psychology and any other ways. I improved, slowly. I moved out at twenty, no car and with two jobs. I was far from the Lord at this time. My girlfriend broke up with me shortly after and then my grandfather died. He was the only man in my life I ever looked up to. I was distraught and I spiraled out of control, I turned to drugs and new age mystic ideas.  I had no idea what I was doing but I was doing what ever I could to feel alive. After studying many different religions, philosophies and occultic ideas. None of it tasted "right". I found the lord after being two years deep in those things. 9/28/2017
The change was immediate in my life. Ironically I found my self back at a Presbyterian church, And I can say honestly they taught me a lot about the Bible and God, and what it meant to be apart of a community. But it felt very strangely off to me, so I tried to figure out why. When I became saved I slowly moved away from my new ages philosophy and turned to theology. Heck, I was a Presbyterian Calvinist that wanted an answer for everything related to God.  Well, I read a bunch of different theologians and ideas, commentaries and debates and I became disillusioned with Calvinism. So I became Catholic. I went through their entire catachism over the course of several months, and as soon as I became catholic I stopped going. I became a lost sheep, knowing I was saved, but knowingly jumping back into my old ways of world. God was still there in the very back of my mind, sadly he most definitely was not at the forefront. This went on for about a year, until I found my self at a Ifb church and became convited in many ways, it felt like what church is meant to be. I hope I'll continue to grow and learn what it means to be a bible believing Christian.

Thank you for reading my message, God bless.

So my Dad's remaining brother contracted covid, as did his wife. (Just FYI - this is not a thread about covid, so don't make it so...just know that masking, "social" distancing, isolation, etc., were all practiced by the family and yet he and his wife contracted covid. Viruses are gonna virus...)
My uncle, Dave, ended up in ICU on a respirator. Today I was told that they had to take him off everything - they had to remove air from around his heart and lungs, so the oxygen had to be removed. He had suffered a number of strokes and there is no brain activity. And they said it is only a matter of time.
My uncle is saved, and will be reunited with his parents, my dad, and their 3 other brothers, as well as I know rejoicing upon seeing Jesus. The "baby" - their sister - is still alive. There is a lot of family, actually. Most in WVA, so we have not seen them in years.
My cousin and her husband moved back to WVA a couple of years ago to be closer to family. She has not been able to see her dad since this covid stuff started months ago. As one who has gone through the loss of a dad, my heart breaks for her. Especially now, when likely there will be no funeral allowed. She also has 2 brothers. And there are a slew of cousins.
Prayer for comfort, wisdom, and drawing nearer to the Lord would be appreciated.

No. But when a culture is steeped in false religion, it’s spiritual thoughts will be based from that. And the examples you have weren’t ‘cultures’ (e.g. Arabian, Nepalese), they were religions (Muslim, Buddhist). Just going off the information you provided. 🤷🏼‍♀️

In all seriousness, I'm not against Vaccines. I'm a firm believer in doing your research before you decide to take a certain vaccine or not.

When/if Covid is over, will you stop earing a mask in public? Virus are deadly every year to certain people, so you must publicly wear a mask the rest of your life to protect those folks.

PTL. I Love the little Word "ALL" and the little word "all" is not hard to understand except for some "religion club" members!!

    God our Savior,
4 who desires "all" men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
5 For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
6 who gave Himself as a ransom for "all", the testimony given at the proper time. 1 Timothy 2:4
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but
    is patient toward you,
not wishing for ""any"" to perish but for "all" to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9
    It's a nice little word isn't it

    John 1:7 (KJV 1900)
7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that ""all ""men through him might believe.
    Romans 5:18 (KJV 1900)
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon ""all""men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon ""all"" men unto justification of life.
    1 Timothy 4:10 (KJV 1900)
10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of ""all"" men, specially of those that believe.
    Titus 2:11 (KJV 1900)
11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to ""all"" men,
    Isaiah 45:22 (KJV 1900)
22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth:
For I am God, and there is none else.

How to be saved (born again) and join the family of God!!!

    Romans: Chapter 10 verse 9-10-13 GOD SAYS=

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in your heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be Saved. For with the heart man
believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession
is made unto Salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the
name of the Lord shall be Saved....................

    ---------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------

An example prayer for those that have never talked to God!

    Heavenly Father:........................................... ...............................
I come to you in prayer asking for the forgiveness of
my Sins. I confess with my mouth and believe with my
heart that Jesus is your Son, And that he died on the
Cross at Calvary that I might be forgiven and have
Eternal Life in the Kingdom of Heaven. Father, I believe
that Jesus rose from the dead and I ask you right now
to come in to my life and be my personal Lord and
Savior. I repent of my Sins and will Worship you all the
day's of my Life!. Because your word is truth, I confess
with my mouth that I am Born Again and Cleansed
by the Blood of Jesus! In Jesus Name, Amen

For that you just need a live streaming video. Rumble.com is another that's competing with YouTube.

Biden has already confessed to voter fraud on video. He confessed on behalf of the entire democrat party days ago on October 24th. He also confessed for Obama who won both of his elections via egregious voter fraud previously. Seems very clear with this confession that every democrat won seat in government EVERYWHERE has been obtained at least partially through voter fraud. What more does Trump need to end this farce and take back this country from communist China. Watch his video confession below:
