If we use it this way enough, it will be updated. BTW, who is the final authority for speeling and grammer? lol
I'm going have fun now

I thought this verse was that of serving others. Works
It's a warning against neglect.
Is your original question should I mind my own business or should I mind the business of others?

James 4:17 KJV
Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

Praying for you Jim. Can I add your name to our church prayer meeting on Thursday evening?
-
Maybe a one time poster as well. A hit and run.
Hopefully they are not a hit and run member, those members usually can't back anything they say so they post and run.

Judging begins in the pulpit. Preachers better get it right. Yall have no clue what is the truth. You will find out when you think Jesus has returned to rapture you out but hold on...is he really gonna show up first or will the anti christ fool everyone of you foolish baptists. So sad
First, welcome to OB. Second, you having a bad day? Thirdly, you tell us how wrong we are without telling us what were wrong in, and a lack of using scripture to tell us where we're wrong in. We find in the scripture that even the devil used the Bible to trip up Jesus.
These types of posters always seems to reassure me of my beliefs, so thanks for posting.

In my opinion the topic of judging is one of the most misunderstood things in the Bible. It's not hard to understand Biblical judging once you study it in the Bible, but it seems few do.

Title says it all, what was the message about at church today?
Today I started our series on the Tabernacle.

How much longer do we have to contend with this disruptive behavior? Doc's proven time and again he's only here to promote his unbiblical stances. We had far less tolerance of an outspoken Calvinist a while back.
While I understand it's unbiblical, when folks don't use the Bible as a source of Biblical standards and authority it's hard to show from the Bible when the rebuttal is man quotes and not God. Because of that, I believe the readers of these forums can decide between what man has to say or what God has.
TBH, due to the lack of Scripture, it really reaffirms to me what the Bible says and people can see that. It really helps people to see that woman pastors are unbiblical according to the Bible, but no less important in the church.
I'll close this as it's heading in the direction of other threads. Reading can now decide between man or God.
Dr, it is a humorous list, but not relevant to Biblical qualifications for man or woman

That's very possible. I haven't been there since 1979 with the exception of time I crossed over the border while on the lake fishing in 1980. Wow! 43 years can bring a lot of changes in policy, especially in light of the terrorist attacks of 2001. I have no desire to go to PR.
Yea, after 9-11 a passport is needed to go to Canada.

That list has zero Biblical qualifications for a pastor of either a female or a male. That's a post that needs it's own thread as it has nothing to do with "Biblical" qualification.

I've never had a passport, and I probably never will. I don't feel the need to travel outside of the United States and Canada.
I believe you need a passport now to travel to Canada, however you can go to Puerto Rico

Right? Moose are all over Connecticut now, it wasn't like that when I was a kid.

Does anyone know if there are any Libertarian's or Independents worth looking at for the 2024 election?

Administration note:
God gave us all a free will to believe what and who we believe. I trust everyone reading this will take the time and read what the Bible says rather than what man says. In the past man has got things wrong in the church (every denomination and non-denomination) when they listen mans opinions, but God's word never changes. Trust God's Word over man and you'll never be wrong. Beware of people that point you to more of what man says rather than God. That's what cults do. God is the one we are accountable to.Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
