For some reason, because of my "emotionalism",(their word--not mine) I have been mistaken for a woman, and so I discovered that my gender is not speciifed in my profile. Just so everyone knows; on any forum I have ever joined, I have never intentionally tried to hide my gender, nor am I ashamed of it. So if someone would kindly show me how, I will get that taken care of right now. And anyway; what is feminine about the screen name "Heartstrings"?

1. On the top right click the down arrow that is to the right of your username.
2. Click "My Settings".
3. Click the "Profile" tab
4. Around the middle of the page you will see the option to add your gender.

As you should, but it gives you the option to quote other posts before it automatically sends you to the Replying to "???" part, correct?

I ran the upgrade tonight to the newest version of MyBB. I still have to apply new features so give me a few days to take care of that.

I tried that once after you switched to this version and I almost got lost!

BroMatt, one of the ladies brought up the issue of pages being listed in a thread but no post appearing on the next page. I know that happened here for a while - is that something that can be fixed or is it just part of the format?

Another lady asked if it were possible for the first part of the OP to be brought up when the cursor hovers over the title?

One of the ladies jokingly said she'd like pink lace framing the posts. I know you don't think along feminine lines ( and I'm so glad!!!), but is there a way with this format to make it "purtier?"

I was reading a post on OBL and wanted to give it a rating click - but we don't have that there. Could you add that?

Yes, as it stands now,it just culls them from the area called prayer requests. However, so many times ladies mention requests in other areas not dedicated for that purpose. If we could just have an actual list, and a way to mark them answered, or delete, as Happy Christian mentioned, that would be awesome.

Currently, we have a prayer request section where the 5 most current requests show when we log in. We like that, but have a couple of requests. Is there a way that, when a request has been answered, that request could be removed without being deleted? And also, could we list more than the most current 5?

• It actually will work best having it as a forum for conversation purposes.
• Changing the amount listed on the front page can be done from inside the admin panel.
• As far as marking a request as answered or not, the new upgrade will have "Thread Prefixes". A user will be able to mark a prayer request [Request], [Answered], or whatever you would like.
• Even if we have a list people still need to add the prayer request to the list. If it is posted in a forum and not added to the list it OBviously will not show up there. With it being a thread it just needs to be moved into prayer forum to show on the front page.

Ladies, soon I will be updating the version of the software that you are using. Now is the time to let me know of any features that you would like added or removed. I will be updating it to the newest version of MyBB. If a lady mod could let the ladies over there know I would appreciate it. Please post the response here or I will never see it.

In the future I want to switch the ladies over to the same software that we are using here (IPB) and merge the members. They will still be two boards, but the registration with the ladies will also work here. Right now I can't afford the software for both, so that is down the road.

Ok, let's hear the suggestions.

FYI: For me to do the updates, I do not have to be on the ladies website. I FTP files over and run the upgrade script. Just thought I would mention that in case anyone was wondering.
