  1. I'm not sure how much you understand here as this not the first time with these type of replies, and that is ok. It is what it is. So lets start over, below I removed the... I see no need to expound Maybe now we can get into Scripture instead of a website. Thank you for your reply. I was hoping you would be able to post some KJV verses here that we can discuss. Nothing personal, but I'm not going to take your word for it or anyone else's. I want to delve into Scripture to see what God has to say. lol, I never said it wasn't. You made a statement and I want to see where in Scripture you came up with that conclusion and you have yet to do that.
  2. Here we go again. lol Yes, I have read it, that is why I ask you to expound on your reply of "Song of Solomon", in which you replied "I see no need to expound. Song of Solomon is very sensual in both areas. It deals with human sexuality as well as with a person's love for God." ----- Then to back up your beliefs, it was followed by a link to an article written by a United Methodist Pastor. When I question that link, you replied "So does the Song of Solomon. Have you read it recently?" That is awesome as I was trying to get you to go back to Scripture (Song of Solomon), but you didn't want to. If we're determining right from wrong, let's get it from the Bible, not man or Google. So, I would love for YOU to expound on Song of Solomon....not Google it for someone else to expound for you.
  3. I received a copy in mail yesterday, thank you. You did an excellent job compiling Bible verses and put them together in an easy way to understand. Obviously, it's a booklet so how do you use these? You pass them out? You place them on doors?
  4. You may want to google another website, that one talks about the flesh part of sensuality.
  5. Please expound. I believe this is important and relevant to the topic of music.
  6. Scripture talks a lot about our senses. I'm curious, is there scripture that you use to say sensual is not limited to flesh? Thank you
  7. He looks familiar, I'll look for him. It may be hard as there is usually over 1,000 people there with the majority of the people pastors and their families. How do you know him?
  8. I stopped watching after he rambled something about men on the moon and aliens. Maybe he wants aliens to wear masks? Nah, they'll just come through Mexico with $100 worth of stuff from the hardware store to get over the wall. lol
  9. Two years ago I was at a conference and Pastor Wilkerson of First Baptist church in Hammond, IN was there and to make a long story short we ended up talking and praying together for about 20 minutes. Fast forward to last month where our paths crossed again. He mentioned hello preacher, didn't I pray with you under the tent a couple years ago. How's your church Highpoint in Connecticut doing? Here I can't even remember what I had for breakfast or my kids names, but Pastor Wilkerson who pastors a very large church remembers almost every detail about our conversation. Why can't I do that? lol
  10. The name sounds familiar as I probably have seen him a few times in the past. @Ukulelemike Pastor Doug Fisher is usually one of the speakers at this conference, but probably not this year due to his health.
  11. Do any of you pastors attend any Pastor Meetings or conferences throughout the year? I usually attend 3-4 per year which includes Church Planting Conferences and such. I'm heading to NJ for a Pastor's Conference this week Summit 2021 (northeastvision.org)
  12. Brother, you must be confused. We're talking about the verses you copied and pasted regarding liberal voting which leads to government control when voting. That my friend is right on topic. You quoted Matt 25 and I asked who that chapter was referring to (because that is important in voting decisions) in which you said that chapter has no bearing on this topic. Soooooo....... Please don't create a problem and then try to be the solution.
  13. Would it not make sense to me to refer to the verses you were quoting, where I quoted you? Nobody that I can see mentioned the 10 virgins but you. In all sincerity, do you know what verses you are copying and pasting? If you need help navigating here I can help you if needed. **Edited to add if you scroll up you can see that you copied and pasted Matt 25:35-36 so naturally that's what my reply was, who is Matthew 25 talking to?
  14. With all due respect, sometimes I wonder if all you do is google answers then copy and paste. Are your reply's you or someone else on the internet? You are telling me that Matt 25 has nothing to do with this topic when you are the one who quoted from Matt 25. When I asked for you to expound on your statement, you then quoted Matthew 25:35-36. Then I ask you who Matthew 25 is referring to, and your reply was you don't see that Matt 25 has any bearing with this topic? I'm curious, are you aware what you are copying and pasting? I'm asking in all honesty and sincerity as it will help me in the future to understand your replies. I was going to get into that after he answers why he said that the Bible verse he quoted has no bearing in this topic. I'm very confused.
  15. So what are some examples in Scripture about Governments abuse of power. It will be interesting to see what the Bible has as examples for government over reach. I'll go first. In Ex 9 we see Pharaoh resisting Moses in "Let my People Go" even after several plagues came. After all, having the Israelites there was good for the wellbeing people of Egypt. We know God's people eventually was able to get out of slavery, and this verse is a great example in the beginning of the Bible about Government's over reach in power.
  16. @Bouncing BillWho is Jesus talking to in Matt 25? Please remove formatting when copying and pasting. Hopefully you still have the instructions in your inbox.
  17. Who defines 'false religion'? Pretty clear to me!!!
  18. You 120% missed the whole point I was making because you keep assuming what my intent is or it's because I'm a dumb poster, I'll try to increase my skills. lol Please re-read. You replied to me about the effectiveness of the vaccine and that was not anything near what I referring to. I don't know how we can have a conversation when your answers are nothing to do with the question. My point is when the answer to the effectiveness of the vaccines has to do with aliens and men on the moon, then you don't have an answer and it confuses people to the point of not trusting authorities.
  19. I'm not anti-vax (we researched each vaccine before we gave to our kids and some vaccines we did not allow them to get, they don't need 80 by the time they are 8). I am against government over-control. Our government ignores the thousand of illegal immigrants crossing without checking for covid, but demand American citizens get it? The vaccine is not pushed for your safety, it is pushed with your vote. I know @Bouncing Bill will disagree and I have 0 problem with that. After all, I'm dumb ?
  20. Our present and previous administration has failed us with the vaccine. They turned the vaccine into a political agenda and Biden lied about the vaccine just the other day in the CNN town hall meeting (not the part where he rambles about the men on the moon and aliens), and his administrations has not been transparent about the vaccine. It's all been about votes. Sad!!! Thus the hesitancy. I honesty believe this would be different about the vaccine if our politicians told the truth from the beginning.
  21. you show up to church 15 minutes late because its fashionable. Your turn.....
  22. The point of this topic is NOT to criticize those attending or not attending in person services, but rather to see where our culture is currently at. How are you currently attending church services?
  23. This topic is not to discuss the accuracy of the KJV or other translations, but to discuss the use of saying "I use the KJV 1611 Bible" Is it wrong to say that we use the KJV 1611 or should we say KJV 1763? A common argument against the KJV is to say that we don't use the 1611 Bible but rather the 1763. I understand what took place in the English language for the updates that took place in 1763, and I also understand why I say KJV 1611. Nobody that I'm aware of says that the Bible I read is the original KJV 1611 style, but the foundation was from the KJV 1611. It seems that that logic that is thrown in the KJV faces only applies to the Bible. I drive a 2013 Chrysler 200M. People always tell me that its a 2013, but there have been changes made to the car since 2013 (It does not have all the original 2013 parts) so why do those same people still say its a 2013 car?
