Title says it all. Name the best and worst thing.
I'll start:
Connecticut
Best: The weather. We get all 4 seasons with an awesome fall. Summers are in the 80-90's and winters are not that bad or long. We also get all the natural disasters on a small scale. Earth quakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, and blizzards.
Worst: Taxes and cost of living. $$$$

Thanks for posting this. That is awesome. We were rooting for Tennessee because Ashley Rogers (their star pitcher) went to our church's school, but OU may have just become my favorite team. I wonder how much coverage this interview got.
I missed the championship game since Uconn is not good in softball. I would have rooted for OU anyways because you know that Tennessee and Uconn woman's BBall rivalry.

I will state this as well: Just because God does not qualify a person for the pastoral position does not mean they are "uneducated" or incapable of doing the job. God set it up where the pastor is a "husband of one wife" (1 Tim 3:2). God distinctly made males and females different, both physically and mentally. God chose pastors to be men, and I can't give birth because that's not how God made me. There are some ministries that God called people in our church to do that I probably can do better, but God did not call me for that ministry like He did them, and I'm okay with following God.
The women in our church play a role just as important as mine in our church. I will not sit back and let people disrespect women and the roles that God has given them in our New Testament church.

I wish more will walk the talk, but nevertheless this was refreshing to hear.

It's not my rule, it's how God set it up. The only way to support woman pastors is to quote more people than Scripture.

Looks like someone's going to be getting a letter from John of Patmos

If apostles have the authority to teach congregations, which they do, and if Junia is an apostle, which the KJV says she is, then using an obscure passage like 1 Timothy 2:11-15 to restrict women from teaching with authority has no weight. Consequently, females can be pastors and teach with authority.
It's still not the same

I thought the title of this thread was woman pastors not woman apostles. Apples are not oranges and vice versa

Chris Christie was just added to our poll. I believe everybody's vote could be changed if desired.

I think a good place to begin here so that we're all on the same page and to be clear, what we mean by the term “altar call”?
From my experience, nothing is wrong with an altar call, but it can be wrong in how they are done?

Congratulations. We are hoping to make it up for Summit either next year or the year following. Of course, our son's graduation isn't for another 3 years yet. I hope your daughter can put her degree to good use very soon.
I look forward to meeting you at the Summit one of these years. I'm really looking forward to this one next month.

which proves that you don't read the postings, but, rather scan them for bullet points that you can answer.

Ok, Mike Pence is added as he filed paperwork today. I believe everybody's vote could be changed if desired.

Pence will be running this week, he’s probably the only Christian running with a clean record and experience. DeSantis second, or vice president to Pence.
I'll add Pence to the poll when/if he officially announces

That's clearly not what I said.
TBH, I came to the same conclusion after reading your post(s). Seem to answer a question that wasn't the question. Logically speaking, answering the way you did implicates what Jim said.
As the author of this thread, I'm closing this topic before it get's like others.

Does anyone think that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has a chance to be the Dem nominee?

I don't see anything changing because the Swamp will always remain.

My father in-law was the same way as you both. Cook it until it's ashes. lol
