  4. Sometimes, I just have to step away from all of the theological discussions and disagreements and just ponder the wonder that Jesus Christ died for me. In that simple truth lies the deepest comfort one can know.

  6. On Saturday, August 10th, 2019...my Dad passed away from this life into the loving rest of Jesus Christ. This was also my dear wife's birthday. Though he hasn't known who I was for several years, he still had the same loving and happy disposition as before. I count myself blessed to have been the son of this great man. He was my teacher, my inspiration, and my hero...he was... ...my Dad. Dear Lord, thank you for allowing me to be his son.

  7. This is quite a long read, but I thought that there may be some that would like to hear my testimony. I know that as far as testimonies go, most are short. Mine differs in that it actually took place over many years. ________________________________________ My exposure to religion began at a very early age. As a young child I can remember my grandmother taking me to church. She was a staunch Catholic and attended church quite regularly. I can still remember the awe I had as a child, in relation to the pomp and ceremony of the Catholic Mass, the statues, candles, confessional, holy water

  11. Now it is time for me to step out of my shell and let go... I AM STRICT KJV!... In scripture God said he would preserve his word... Well did he or didn't he?... If there is every translation under the sun, then he didn't but I KNOW HE DID!... The preserved word of God called the KJV is for the English people has been around for over 400 years and what is interesting to me, is the KJV was translated in 1611 and the Pilgrims landed on Plymouth Rock in 1620... Coincidence?... A new book the preserved KJV word of God for the New World... So take that you KJV naysayers... I have been reading, study

  22. Hello all. I’m just introducing myself here. I’m looking for a church to attend, that fully endorses living life in the Spirit, at all times. I currently am a bit stuck, I can’t yet travel independently, due to ptsd and an inability to tolerate noise etc.. but my goal is to be able to, and to find a church which will walk alongside me, and me the others too, to be changed into jesus’ likeness. I’ve been delivered from the spirit of death, which was continuously compelling me to make serious attempts on my life, a literal compulsion to do so even when I was not suicidal. I’m free of that spirit

  26. And our son is now here! He arrived at 5:30 Sunday morning (drove all night so he could beat our 5 day/4 night record). He's staying with us a few days, and putting out applications. Then he'll stay with my sister, who is closer to where he needs to be to get a job. If you think about it, would appreciate prayer that he finds good work.

Having once said, "Who would ever want to waste their life doing a crazy thing like that," I now say: "The greatest privilege in all the world is to serve the Lord Jesus Christ, having an integral part in taking the eternal Word of God to those still sitting in spiritual darkness at the uttermost, unreached ends the earth... until Christ's soon return. Amen" Ron Myers

  36. I wonder how much sense it would make for me to go onto a Chevy forum and constantly extol the virtues of Fords? I might try it and see what happens.... But then again, that is what is commonly called "trolling" I think, so I wouldn't do that......... Especially since I own a Chrysler and a Toyota.......

  38. Just want to say that I greatly appreciate those who have been taking the time to answer questions for me on various topics in a spirit of graciousness, love and wisdom as they have been on here on some fundamental issues for me. As I have mentioned, I am a first generation Christian, saved in an Independent Fundamental Baptist church, by doctrine a Baptist, but sometimes I look at the "culture," as some would call it. I grew up in public schools, etc. I wouldnt say it is the values that I hold, because I hold to Biblical values, when I was in public schools, a psychologist diagnosed me with A

  43. Charles Spurgeon and his wife would sell, but refuse to give away, the eggs their chickens laid. Even close relatives were told, "You may have them if you pay for them." As a result, some people labeled the Spurgeons greedy and grasping. They accepted the criticisms without defending themselves, and only after Mrs. Spurgeon died was the full story revealed. All the profits from the sale of eggs went to support two elderly widows. Because the Spurgeons were unwilling to let their left hand know what the right hand was doing (Matthew 6:3), they endured the attacks in silence. (copied) ~ <"///

She is so excited to be able to do things and see places she has never had the chance to do before now. Please keep all of us in your prayers, especially for Cristina's safety and well-being while away. Doesn't she look just gorgeous? We love her so much!
