  1. Now that IS funny, PastorMatt! Love it! These Scriptures STILL don't prove your point. I believe your hermeneutics are way off here. But, as I've stated, it's not worth wasting time arguing about. It's a diversionary tactic of the adversary.

Konstantin, either engage in respectful dialogue, or cease and desist. Name calling is the sign of a poor argument.

    The Gap Theory

Another argument against the viewpoint that states the days are 1000 years long (or any other indeterminate amount): Genesis 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. Each day had an evening and a morning. If each period of sunlight (light until day four)* was not 12 hours and each period of night was not 12 hours, then all life would burn up during the 500 years of sunlight and freeze solid during the 500 years of darkness! *Creating light before creating the sun and all other secondary light sources (moon and stars) proves that the Lord God is the source of all life, not something else He had created.

  6. Not to be derogatory or argumentative, but I find that this is still a product of ill-timed conclusions. As I've stated, many, MANY people have made claims like this, and they've proven to be false. It's not even wise to make the prediction of what God will do on any date.

    The Gap Theory

This also leads to the question about the fall of man. How long after the "end of creation" did Adam and Eve last in the non-sinful state before they fell? There are so many variables that we're not given the answer to. So many things to delve into that aren't of real importance. If they were, God would have given us the answers in His Word. JMHO

    The Gap Theory

I agree that it's not something to get hung up on it just would explain some questions like the dinosaurs and clear up some of the verses about Lucifer's rebellion for example: The "garden of Eden" (Gen. 3) is not the same as "Eden the garden of God" (Ezekiel 28) no more than is Jerusalem the same as New Jerusalem.

  10. The fall of Satan happened in the garden when he was in the serpent. The iniquity that was found in Satan was moving mankind to go against God's Word. Genesis 3:13-15 And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. 14 And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: 15 and I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Also scripture is clear that all things were made in the seven days and there were not extra things from another age. Exodus 20:11 for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

    The Gap Theory

Sure it does have something to do with evolution. What other reason is there to try to fit a gap anywhere into Genesis 1? There is certainly no Biblical reasons whatsoever - you have to bring something from outside of the Bible and try to force it into the passages. Microevolutions is not evolution at all - adapting colour, etc. to fit in with a new environment is not a change that wasn’t already part of a creature’s biological makeup. And macroevolution is just (false) “scientific” theory with no truth to back it up (true science is something that can be observed, studied, tested - and no one has ever observed evolutionary changes taking place; there are no transitional fossils anywhere). Better to stick with God and the truth of His Word, without forcing opinions into the Bible or twisting it to fit some humanistic/alternative religious philosophy.

    The Gap Theory

Accepting the Gap Theory or rejecting it has nothing to do with evolution. That is a red herring and does not hold logically. Also, it depends on what type of evolution you are speaking about. Are you denouncing microevolution or macroevolution?

  13. With all due respect, you are not making any sense nor are you keeping anything on topic which is causing confusion. If you want to go with the same logic you provided in the quote above, then I would say also that God is not the author of confusion. Maybe it's a language barrier, if that's the case just let us know. "I freely follow this link" The Bible

  14. Just letting you know there is an issue. It's not a matter of being lazy on my part but rather you checking to see why they would be flagging your site and fixing the security/safety issue for those considering visiting your site. https://bitly.com/a/warning?hash=2rBNOLS&url=http%3A%2F%2Fk-y.in.ua%2Fimage%2Fcache%2Fcatalog%2Fi%2Fqwe

  16. Then you're not rightly dividing the Word. .. In my opinion, you're misrepresenting the Word of God, and trying to lead people here astray. This shows you're not being led by the Holy Spirit, either. These are unfounded accusations. Scripture calls such accusations slander.
