    Job Interview

Well, it's 2am in the morning and I can't sleep because I worry about my job situation. Seems the school is going virtual so I'm out of a job again. I've applied to so many jobs and when I had one lined up the CDL examination doctor failed my physical. In haste I changed my license to a "K" restriction to be able to keep my CDL but this basically means I can only drive a school bus, farm equipment or a van full of illegal aliens to work. I decided to take another CDL physical and that doctor passed me saying he couldn't understand why the other doctor failed me. I think it's because the other

  2. Today went well. No visitors...in fact, not many members came out, either. We are definitely going through a trying time... But it was such a blessing to have the Canavans in. God gave Bro. Andrew just the message I needed to hear. Our Sunday School girls fell in love with them, so I'm excited to "use" the Canavans to teach the kids about missions and witnessing. Today is our anniversary, and it was a joy to spend it the way we did. Tiring, but a joy. =D

  5. We had a good day all around. Busy, tiring, but good. The ladies enjoyed their time of fellowship. Mrs. Canavan spoke on being a hopeful woman - hoping in the Lord, waiting on Him, and not looking for hope in the wrong things. It was a blessing. My hubs and Andrew were out for about an hour and a half, and they aren't sure but think they were able to pass out at least 75 tracts. Just about everyone was friendly, and there was a good conversation with a young man who MAY come to church tomorrow.

  7. Well, there is some good news! Candle went in for another test, and they found no spot! So one of two things: God healed it, or it was a shadow the first time. They want her to have a bone scan, and she is praying about that. Great news, eh? But please keep praying for them both.

  8. Did you hear about the invisible man who married the invisible woman? Their children were nothing to look at.

  9. That's IT!!! I'm done here! God's holy infallible word says that by their fruit, you shall know them (paraphrased because I'm really really really really really really really really really really really upset). Lest ye know, the tomato is a fruit. Lest ye know, ketchup is derived from the tomato. I thought that I was among friends here; however, now the cat is out of the bag...it's carved in stone...it's recorded on Google... I may be wrong, but I'm pretty suspicious that the manna that the Israelites ate in the wilderness was scrambled eggs with ketchup on

  10. Brother Wayne, I myself would agree (I think). For I would contend that the repentance necessary for salvation includes, NOT a repentance from individual sins of unrighteousness (per se) unto a walk of righteousness, BUT a repentance from utter sinFULness in character unto the Savior from all sinfulness. (1st Note: I also believe that the repentance for salvation includes a repentance toward God (unto the truth) and a repentance from dead works (as a means of salvation).) (2nd Note: I would acknowledge that a confrontation of an individual sin may be the means by which a lost sinner comes t
