  1. The Lord has blessed me with opportunities to travel through out the Northeast preaching at different Churches and Baptist Colleges. Due to the virus all my recent meetings have been cancelled, but I'm looking forward to starting up again when this is over. Anyways, I recently (3 weeks ago) took my girls and one of our church teens with me to preach at Vision Baptist College in NJ to look at the school and sit in on classes. While I was there to preach I figured I'd let the girls sing in chapel. The girl playing the piano & the girl on the right are my daughters, and the girl o

  2. I do keep abreast of the news in China (Communist), Taiwan (Free China), and Hong Kong. President Trump, many times, in order to assure the world that the United States is a free Republic (Democratic), has stood up to the communist leaders. President Trumps actions, not just words, is good for America and our ideals that our Founding Fathers set forth in the Constitution. https://www.thenewamerican.com/print-magazine/item/34946-hong-kongers-heroic-fight In the article is the following quote, "President Donald Trump is the first occupant of the White House since the communists ca

  3. I agree with your approach. Below is a copy-and-paste of the posting I just put on our church facebook page. "We are continuing to have our regular scheduled services during this trying time, as our numbers are well below the threshold recommended. However, we will be not be meeting after the service for our weekly church-wide Sunday dinner until further notice. All of life is a balance. And we get in trouble when we get out of balance in one direction or another. God is not a God of fear, and those who live a life of faith need to fear nothing. We believe that God will lead us throu

  4. We have not cancelled our services as of yet. I encouraged our members last night to watch our midweek service on our live stream, instead we had a larger than normal crowd by far and we did not do some pickups. Granted we are a church plant so its not like we had hundreds of people. I know I'll probably get ridiculed for having the doors open at this time, but we are taking precautions and just doing what we believe God is telling us to do at this time. I will not criticize any pastor that closes the doors and goes online only during this time. I believe they are doing what they fe

  5. Dear Any Godly Pastor Dear Pastor... I am old enough to be your mom! However! I'm NOT too old and I don't have so much more experience in life that I cannot continue to learn. What a blessing it is to hear the instruction of the Word. I have not grown so strong, so knowledgeable, or so wise that I no longer need comfort, encouragement, edification, exhortation, admonition, reproof, rebuke, and correction in righteousness. You see - it never gets old or tiresome to hear the Word with listening ears, ready to receive with an open heart, a message that the Lord has filled your

  7. KJV: Preserved, without error, but not "inspired' or re-inspired. Preservation means it doesn't need to be inspired again, because it is preserved.

  8. Yeah, I used a 19th century solution to fix that problem when I came on as pastor in December. I removed the church computer from my office, shut down the cluttered, unused church website, and turned the email address over to the church secretary/treasurer to keep up with. We have no wi-fi at the church or my house, beyond the data on my mobile phone. Its certainly not the solution for everyone, but its works for this old cowboy.
