What you both said, makes sense. Pharmaceutical companies are crazy. I am definitely going to look into the other options you mentioned. The vitamin K and tomato juice seems like some very easy alternatives!

Bennett Spring State Park, a favorite location to visit for all of my family, is located on Highway 64 going west from Lebanon, Missouri approximately 13 miles. Bennett Springs State Park has a large fish hatchery for Rainbow Trout and is a very popular place for fishermen and locals from the area. Bennett Spring State Park Bennett Springs, MO

    America is not Mystery Babylon

Funny how many modern ecumenical professing Christians want to believe the Antichrist and his kingdom are anything but the revived Roman empire (papacy). For clarification, I believe it is an antichristian system - but the final endtimes pope is the one who will be the one-world ruling, declaring himself as God, making the 7 year peace treaty (ie. the antichrist). Daniel talks about four kingdoms from his time until the return of the Messiah to set up His kingdom, and Revelation lists seven altogether (Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Pagan Rome, Papal Rome - ie. revived Roman Empire). See Revelation 13:1-8 (the heads are the kingdoms/empires, the horns are the kings - nations - making up the final kingdom). Revelation 17:1-14 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: 2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. 3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: 5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. 7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. 8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. 9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. 10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. 11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. 12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. 13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. 14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. Rome has been called the City of seven Hills/mountains for over 2000 years and it fits all the descriptions given in chapters 17-18. Verse 8 and 13:3 indicates the kindgom will receive a deadly wound and come back to life, so the 8th kingdom will be the final form of the 7th kingdom after it comes back to life - ie. the final endtimes one world ruler/antichrist. He will be part of the seventh. Also, the 7th “will continue a short space” - in light of how fast the other world kingdoms faded from the scene, this one will stick around (and will actually continue until Jesus comes back). Notice there is no mention of gaps between these empires. Babylon conquered Assyria, Medo-Persia conquered Babylon, then Greece, then Rome, then Papal Rome rose up as pagan Rome was fading from the scene.

    America is not Mystery Babylon

Hmmm?? Interesting. A lot of prophecy teachers seem to think that the United States is either MYSTERY BABYLON or a "daughter." Let us see what our friend Steven Anderson states concerning MYSTERY BABYLON: “At one point, it was the tower of Babel, in the plains of Shinar. Then it was Babylon. Then it was Rome. I believe now, it's the United States. United States is the new Rome. The United States is the new Babylon.”1 As far as I am concerned, they are wrong. The United States is not, repeat not, either MYSTERY BABYLON, nor a daughter. 1Anderson, Steven Revelation 17 copied on April 1, 2019 <http://www.faithfulwordbaptist.org/revelation_17.html>

    Hubs in the hospital...

No real news, just pretty much the same. He's in constant pain - has had a couple of weeks of bad nights. He has tried to not take much in the way of pain meds, but he's had to up his intake (he's still below what the doc has allowed, though). The hospitalist told him that his foot would take a long time to heal. He thinks the nerves are reactivating in the foot, because he's getting sharp jabs of pain several times a day. He sees the doctor again this Friday to see if he can go back to work or not yet. I don't think he's going to make it yet. We had to cancel the nursing home service for this month (the first Sunday) again. Hopefully in May we'll be able to get back to it. He had me call, but the activity director wasn't in. The executive director was the one who answered the phone. When we first started, the then activity director told us we couldn't visit the residents - we were disappointed, because there was no way for us to get to know them other than just the one Sunday we are there, thus not being able to encourage folks to come to the service. But!! the ED told me it would be fine for us to visit the folks who come to the service! That all we have to do is knock on their doors! AND she said we could pass out fliers. Amen! So, even with these problems, we are seeing blessings.

    Starting on a new adventure

No kids today - their aunt was sick, and I think she's the one who gets them ready. I'll be visiting them this Saturday, hopefully. Please pray with me that they will be able to come and begin being faithful. I have to admit I was pretty heartbroken this morning. I know, in God's time. But after last week, I was sure hoping it was time!

    Antichrist will come from

Jerry said, "Many Americans. How about many people from all over the world." Jerry was one hundred per cent correct. I The vast majority of people, in all of the different nations of the world, reject the gospel of Jesus Christ as their Saviour. The people, in all of the different nations of the world, who have rejected the gospel of Jesus Christ as their Saviour will believe the lie of the anti-Christ, just as Paul the Apostle stated. Paul the apostle did not list, or single out, America, or any other one country. Lately, it is becoming popular for people to write, without concrete scriptural truth, that America will be the seat of the anti-Christ. After considering all of the scripture references given, I do not believe it at all.

@Roselove,I have to second what Salyan says about bc pills. There are components to the pills that are really just not healthy for us. The pills usually have estrogen in them, as well as progestin. Both are man-made to simulate what the ovaries produce. Too much estrogen can cause breast cancer. Too long a use of progestin affects the nervous system and joint/muscle/back pain. It can also affect the cardiovascular system, the skin, vision, etc. Personally, it isn't worth the side effects for me, even if that seems to be the answer. Ofttimes, food can help certain situations. An 8 oz glass of tomato juice, according to research done by Harvard, can cut the risk of ovarian cancer in half. Drinking green tea every day cuts the risk as well. Foods with quercitin in them (all kinds of peppers, apples, berrries, asparagus, buckwheat, onions, kale, etc) also help the liver break down carcinogens, thus also helping avoid ovarian cancer. Nuts, and belgian endive also help. Sleep is vital to the immune system. I was told by a naturopath (and it's since been repeated by other docs) to get in bed by 11 pm, if not earlier. He said that the hours before midnight are the best hours for rest and our immunity. I don't always do that, but when I'm in bed by 9 or 010, I really am more rested. Rather than retyping what he said, I'm going to post a link from Dr. Axe regarding anemia. He explains what it is (I scrolled down past it, because it's lengthy...and I know what it is, as I'm sure you do LOL), but then he lists foods to avoid and foods/supplements to eat/take. https://draxe.com/anemia-symptoms/ Maybe something he says can be of help? (he's a doctor of natural medicines, just so you know he's not a quack...although some people think folks that do natural meds are nuts. LOL) I had to quit using our cast iron skillets for a while because I had too much iron in my system. Maybe you could invest in a couple of cast iron pans to cook in? They aren't good for things that have a high water content, but there's a lot that can be cooked in them. It may or may not help. Likely the bleeding issue is what has caused the anemia. When my husband had his accident on Feb. 14, they had to take him off his warfarin because the (huge!) hematoma he got wouldn't stop bleeding. His leg was really swelled up from being filled with blood. Ugh! So they took him off the warfarin and put him on Vitamin K. Vitamin K is considered an antidote to warfarin in the case of a brain bleed or other bleeding that won't stop. That is for those who are on warfarin, though. Maybe you could ask your doctor if Vit. K might be of any help in the bleeding? I sure hope you can find some answers! I know you must really feel lousy most days!

    Birth control for health issues?

I get suspicious when I hear doctors prescribing birth control pills to solve other problems. This evil culture seems determined to sterilize people at all costs – discouraging committed marriage, encouraging transgenderism and homosexuality - I would not at all be surprised if the trend toward using birth control pills to solve other problems is one more way of producing this effect. I did some research on this once and found that regular use of birth control pills can produce long-term fertility issues – even long after stopping the use of the pill. Whether single or married, if you hope to have children someday, you should avoid using it. Just seems that with all the medicines out there today, there should be some that will produce the same effects without the abortionaid effect.

Psalm 89 ends with the psalmist longing and asking for the sure and tender mercies of David that were promised to all men through David's house and covenant of Mercy. This shows us that this Spiritual house given to David by God was not just for King David but for all men who would join themselves to the Builder of that house and to David's descendant, the Christ, the Holy one Of Israel, King Jesus. (Isiah 55, Acts 13:34) In the first three parts of Psalm 89 we are shown, with great confidence, the eternal plan of God, building a spiritual house of Mercy for us in the heavens and his ability to perform all that He has promised and finally the example of his covenant of mercy to us all as seen through the covenant of David. Yet in Part 4 of Psalm 89 we are brought back to the "here and now" by Ethan the Ezrahite, who is trying to reconcile the loving kindness God has for David and His promises to us, and his power, with their feelings of forsakenness, their sufferings, loss and destruction he sees them experiencing in the present times. We see that Ethan does not ask "why" God has chosen to allow thees things but asked "how long", showing that even now his groanings are not in doubt but in hope and longing for the final fulfillment of all things that were promised. In this final sermon of Psalm 89 we summarize the chapter and encourage Christians to have faith in the eternal promises of God and that He is working even presently to bring them about, even in times when it is not apparent. Like the Psalmist, and even more, Christians can take comfort in the Promises of God through faith in Jesus Christ, the son of David, who said He was departing from us for a time to continue preparing rooms in that same Spiritual house for us. Until we reunite with Him in heaven, and as Paul, Christ's faithful servant and Apostle, said, He has gone on before us and has given us the "Ernest of the Spirit" to keep and prepare us for when he finishes his divine plans for eternity. John 14:1-4 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 2 Corinthians 5:1-5 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: 3 if so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. 4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. 5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. To me Psalm 89 is one of the greatest Psalms of the Bible that has helped grow my understanding of bible theology greatly. It is my hope that God will bless the Christian as they study and apply it to their own understanding and that God might open the riches of its wisdom to you, giving you assurance in your eternal salvation and comfort in your times of suffering.
