    Happy 68th Israel!

That was really pretty. Love that harmony! Back in the 80s I thought seriously about making "Alliyah"

  4. Yes, most calvinists or monergists would have regeneration before belief. I don't see how that holds up in scripture.

  5. Have just started 2Kings in my daily reading, so I've just been through Elijah, and now, Elisha, who has just died. Interesting fellows. Particularly Elijah, about whom really very little is said-just one day, there he is, declaring thee will be no rain, and his adventures in the wilderness. So you refer to them in a nails on a chalkboard shortened form of "my baby's mama/daddy".

  8. Just want to say that I greatly appreciate those who have been taking the time to answer questions for me on various topics in a spirit of graciousness, love and wisdom as they have been on here on some fundamental issues for me. As I have mentioned, I am a first generation Christian, saved in an Independent Fundamental Baptist church, by doctrine a Baptist, but sometimes I look at the "culture," as some would call it. I grew up in public schools, etc. I wouldnt say it is the values that I hold, because I hold to Biblical values, when I was in public schools, a psychologist diagnosed me with A
