These verses: Isaiah 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth; but the word of our God shall stand forever. and Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. If you think these words are true and that His word is for ever, where is it now?

So .he believes not only in the "preservation" of the Bible for the English speaking people to be the KJV, but that it's also "inspired?" He apparently believes in the double inspiration theory put forth by the likes of Peter Ruckman. Sorry, but you'll NEVER get me to buy into that position.

Am I feeling sorry for myself, or hoping for pity from others? Absolutely not; I consider it an honor to follow the path the Lord has prepared for me. I've NEVER been able to understand how people could fall for the tripe that is Calvinism.

Calvinists: God is a jealous God. In fact he is so jealous that he creates some people to be predestined to worship other Gods.

They just sent over 300 of these to try to kill the CITIZENS in Israel. Nothing was aimed at a base or a runway or Troops. IRAN tried to KILL The citizens in Israel, as they always do, with all the Thousands of Rockets that are sent for years and years... from Lebanon, or by Hezbollah, or Hamas, = Gaza. Israel just last night bombed a BASE in Iran, and destroyed a large Radar Tower. They didnt try to kill any IRAN Civilians, because Israel is not the murdering mob..... Israel is a tiny country trying to stay alive.....and God will make certain of it...... IRAN is the murdering mob that sends in their Proxy's... like Hezbollah, and Hamas......who use humans as body shields, and they will kill Jews, Americans, Brits, Australians, Germans......= anything that isn't a Quran worshiping muslim. These demonic MULLAH's who control all this.......From Iran, they sit there and "mouse click"....>"OK< we need Hamas to do this, and Hezbollah to do that".. And what IRAN does not comprehend, is that Israel is a War Machine backed by God that will not just fight in Gaza... they will take their fight right down the Throat's of these Iranian "leadership", who seem to believe they are insulated... - In the last nearly 7 months, there have been 2, major attacks, against the "jew", but we will call it Israel. OCT 7 was the first, and this is well documented, and now, a few days ago, you have Iran (Islam) attacking Israel in the middle of the night, as the devil loves the darkness....... Many many Ballistic , Cruise Missiles, and at least 200 Attack Drones were sent in by Islam (Iran) to try to kill Jewish citizens. Only "throw it out" if you are trying to offer it to God to be accepted by God. For example.. "God, i'll promise to stop sinning............will you save me now'"" ????? See that? "God says" = NO I WONT, as that is not my GRACE. and you are "saved by Grace", or you are not saved at all.

All those passages above show repentance from sin. You can throw them out if it doesn't fit your theology - but that doesn't make your theology true.

What you wrote does not even make sense as a sentence, so, it certainly can't be found as sound theology. So, God requires that we give to Him, our faith in Christ. As that is to repent from Unbelief, and that is the TRUE Repentance that God accepts. Remember.. 'Jesus came into the world to save SINNERS"......... and you qualified......same as us all. Just stay here... A.) God became a man to die for all your sin, so that He can then give you HIS Righteousness. And that is what happens when you go to God with Faith in Christ. God takes the Blood and Death of Jesus and makes you sinless, as "Jesus is the ONE TIME... Eternal SACRIFICE for SIN" AND then, once your SIN is dealt with by the BLOOD and DEATH of Jesus........as He has now died for them all..... God then gives you "the Gift of Righteousness" that is "The Gift of Salvation". See that? That is to become BORN AGAIN... as a "new Creation".. "in Christ". AS = "ONE with GOD".

Actually, you are dead wrong and teaching falsehood. The Bible teaches repentance from sin and repentance are both necessary for faith. Again, with the straw men. Repentance is not cleaning up your life - it is changing your mind about your sin and turning from it in your heart. If it is true repentance, it WILL reflect in the life - but the changed life is the result of true repentance, not the repentance itself. Mark 1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. If repentance was turning from unbelief, then that verse above would not make sense: believe so you can believe. Matthew 3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: Luke 17:3-4 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him. Oh, it's ok, brother, you sinned against me, but now you believe, so we are all good (though you never made that sin right, hm). Six examples of UNBELIEF they were to repent of!! Oh wait, those are examples of specific sins... Doh!!

Reader, When a person hears the "Gospel", as, "faith comes by hearing" ... then this faith is proof something happened in the heart of the Believer that God SEES... as "God sees the heart" And what is that, that God sees that has happened inside you? God sees your "repentance" ....that is of the kind that God accepts, and that is not repenting from sin....but its repenting from UNBELIEF. See, God is not looking for people who are willing to "clean up"... as = ""Jesus came into the world to save SINNERS" See that Reader? God is looking for FAITH IN CHRIST...and then God will clean you ............So, God is looking for FAITH.....as that proves you have repented from your UNBELIEF.... and God takes that FAITH, and accepts that one time FAITH = forever..... and then He does this... A.) He takes ALL your sin, and puts it on Jesus, "God hath made Jesus to be SIN for us".... = as if Jesus is YOU THE SINNER, and then Christ dies on the Cross, for ALL YOUR SIN.. and then,,. God takes that Righteous LIFE that Jesus LIVED.. and God gives it to you... "imputs it".. ."charges it to you", as if you lived it all your life. This is to become "a New Creation, In Christ". See that? That is : SALVATiON.... Its Jesus becoming our wrong and our sin, and us, = through God's Grace.... God gives us His own RIGHTEOUSNESS, as if we were always righteous, and will always be.. RIGHTEOUS. = to become BORN AGAIN. This is the "imputed righteousness" that God gives you the INSTANT you trusted in Christ, and you remain "made righteous".. having become "the righteousness of God, in Christ".... = FOREVER. Nope, she was a lost child of the Catholic Church, trusting in her works to get her to Heaven. She rejected much Scriptural truth, and made people happy/comfortable dying in their own false religions. AND no lost person can ever do "GOOD WORKS" in God's eyes. All her righteousnesses are as filthy rags (see Isaiah 64:6) compared to the pure, sinless blood of Jesus which was shed on the cross to redeem us from our sins.

Yes, and we see that exact result in those listening to Stephen's message, to some people during the time of Jesus' ministry - the fact that some people can clearly reject the Lord also means some can receive Him. If we are too dead to respond positively (ie. of you still equate physical death with spiritual death), then we are too dead to reject Him too.

I am sorry I forgot to post an update. He came home from the hospital last night, and is doing much better. I almost wrote "He went home last night" - but thought that might not be the best way to word it!

Women are not to lead a church spiritually. Quoting an OT passage about a woman leading/directing them physically into battle during a time of apostasy is not the same thing as a woman leading a NT church spiritually - especially when the NT has clear guidelines on the leadership of the church. A woman can play music - but I think the passages about her not leading the church would also apply if she was leading/directing the church in the worship of the Lord. (Also, minor point Robert, but the NT teaches that elders are the same as pastors. Elders (indicating maturity), bishops (which means overseers), and pastors (which are shepherds, leading and guiding the flock) are all different terms emphasizing different aspects of the same role of leadership in the churches.)
