Administrators HappyChristian Posted December 11, 2009 Administrators Share Posted December 11, 2009 The prOBlem is that many people can't afford private schools. True, many people cannot afford private schools. But in many churches they have help for people who need it. When I taught school, it was always in private Christian schools. I really loved it when those kindergarten kids "got" reading for the first time. Math was fun to teach that age, too.
Members kevinmiller
I don't think I could ever be a career teacher. I enjoyed my time in Korea but I was ready to move on after a year. I prefer working with rational adults than little kids.
Members JerryNumbers
Teaching in private schools & or Christians schools. Am I right or wrong. Many time they will not pay as much, will not have the benefits, as well as the retirement of public schools. I'm thinking I have heard some say that is the reason that keeps them in public schools. Members lettheredeemedsayso
Yes, reading to them from the time they are born so good for them. Some mommies even read and sing to their babies while they are still in the womb.
Administrators HappyChristian Posted December 17, 2009 Administrators Share Posted December 17, 2009 Jerry8 - you're right, it doesn't pay as much. But to me, it was worth it. Some private schools pay more than others, though. But most aren't what we could call a livable wage. God took care of me, though!

The reason I made that statement is the majority of Christmas make their decision based on money. I've heard several Christians say I would love to teach in a Christina school, but I can't afford it. Its putting this world above God. Few their be that will make sacrifices for our Lord. Can't help but think what Moses gave up in order to walk with God.
