Members Charbo
I was present at the birth of all 4 of our children (last one c-section) and I've come to the conclusion that while I don't know why God decided women should be the ones to give birth, I'm glad He did. Members 5dumplings@home
I have a pretty high pain tolerance. So, by the time I ask for the pain killers, I'm about 5 minutes from delivery. That said, my ankle is on fire.

Administrators HappyChristian Posted November 6, 2007 Administrators Share Posted November 6, 2007 The last time I went to the doctor, I was having some problems (we thought) with my heart. The doctor gave me some pain medication that has a morphine base - and I felt like my head was going to implode!!! The doc was very surprised, because he gave me an extremely low dose. My family doc put it down that I was allergic so I never get it given to me again. Whew - I sure wouldn't want straight morphine in a regular dose!!! :eek
Members John81
I was present for both of mine and cut the cord for both :gross: Yeah, I was there for the birth and all of a sudden she hands me these cutters and tells me to cut the cord! Nobody had said anything to me about that prior to this. So, I just took them and made the cut. It all turned out well. :Green

Members John81
The Lord can help us through any pain or circumstance. We need to be mindful to pray about such matters and to enlist the prayers of our brothers and sisters in Christ.
