Good singing and preaching tonight. After the hymns a woman sung how great thou art. Preaching was on fellowship. I'm thankful for a good church to attend.

I heard the first are actually going to be last so does that mean the one who started this thread is the real winner? lol

Well, I got this here thing inside me.  One doc calls it a node, one doc calls it a mass, so I don't know what to call it.  So anyways; I got this thing and they did a biopsy yesterday and they won't

I didn't get to go to the service tonight but I will get to go to the one next week.

Do you live in the barracks.

My grandson in the Marines will not be able to come home for Christmas, he just has 3 days, & in May he is headed back to Afghanistan for the 2nd time.

Until I married I lived in the barracks. I had no problems with living in the barracks, for most the time I had only one roommate & we worked out of the same shop, part of the time we worked the same shift, I was walking distance of the shop I worked out of, & the chow hall was right next door.

when I lived in the dorms it was a small room and we didn't have a roommate. I could walk to work if I wanted to and the chow hall was right behind the dorm. I wanted out because people were playing their music way to loud and it was annoying.

During my Air Force days was the first time I ever lived with the benefit of central heating & air. It spoiled me. After I married I had to get unspoiled & live without it for several years.

I recall also. Before the Air Force I loved the water from our well out here in the country side of Arkansas, & hated city water. After going in the Air Force January 66, not getting back home until June 9, I could not stand to drink the water I had grown to love. City water tasted wonderful.

After we moved into town after my Grandpa died I never drank much water again until this century. After all them bouts with kidney stones I started drinking more water, usually bottled water because I can't stand the taste of the town water. Before that I drank way too much soda.

I drank way to much pop before air force. now its not nearly as much... a lot more sweet tea than anything. still don't care for water. unless its is bottled flavored water.

The 1st few months of being at my home base, I lived on Mountain Dew for breakfast each morning. Just after a few months I switched to the flight line, switched to Hot Chocolate. But noticed everyone else drank coffee, so I switched to coffee, sill on it.

I don't like most diet stuff but I have found two diet root beers I like. Diet A&W and some generic kind from Wal-Mart.

Diet Mountain Dew is one thing I don't understand how anyone can drink! That stuff tastes nothing like regular Mountain Dew.

My dad has started drinking diet mountain dew. now any time he tries to drink regular he gets this nasty look on his face because it is so much sweeter. I laughed at him when he did that last time we went golfing. But he had to give up the real stuff cause he has diabiets (sp) now.

Amazing, John has been winning since 23 December, 2011, at 5:55 PM, yet that has ended as of when I click on 'Post.'

And that will give me the honor of being the 1st one to post under this topic in the year 2012, while giving the honor of being the last one to post under this topic in the year 2011 to John!

Congratulations John! But I'm winning 1st in 2012.
