Members John81
I've seen the preacher carry a Bible, though I don't know what version or if he actually reads it.
Guest Guest
You should ask him. Or maybe send them a letter outlining your concerns and make sure you back them up with Scripture.
Members IM4given
They would probably be very offended if you told them anything that they are doing is sinful! After all God is love, and someone who loves you would not want to make you feel bad about yourself now would they? Then they will most likely pull out the Golden rule "Love one another." yadda, yadda, yadda. They might even go so far as to ACCUSE you of being Un-Christain because you have lustful hearts - never mind dressing the way that they do is causing men of all ages to sin left and right and all around them - and that behavior is considered sinful too! Members John81
You are probably right IM. Those I've encountered like these neighbors are typically that way. When you point out Scripture about modest dress they have all sorts of excuses and they seem quick to claim that any problem with the way a woman is dressed is with the man who looks upon her wrongly! Guest Guest
I'd still send them a letter.
Members John81
Maybe I could do like Luther and nail (or tack) a point by point message to his door! :)
Members IM4given
Maybe you wife can take a few snapshots of their inappropriate attire - so they can see how they look to others? I know a woman who dressed in short shorts and her husband took a picture of her while she was bent over weeding the garden - she never wore shorts again!
Guest Guest
Two great ideas there.
Members John81
That might work for his wife as she is too overweight to wear the bathing suit she does. It probably wouldn't work for his daughters, they are all thin and probably considered attractive by todays standards.
