ok I was going to edit my post and put this in my previous post but you cannot do that so.
Ok Most of you know that I have major allergies nad at camp it is always hard . So anyways usually they allow you to stay in the cabin and not go swimming but this year they required you to stay down at the pool for at least 15 min - Cozaddale's requirements- and then we could go to the cabin IF there was an adult in there.
So ok on Tues we went down and I put my legs in nad then I remembered to ask what they used -Chlorine or Bromine- because I am allergic to Bromine. So of course they used Bromine. So I took my legs out and after 15 min an adult was going up to the cabin, so I went up with her. By the time I got tup to the cabin , I had had an allergic reaction to the Bromine -they said my legs looked like purple blueberries with red spots- anywa so they gave me a Benadryl whih is like craziness anyway. So they were supposed to wake me up when the next bell which was like an half an hour. I kept hearing bells ringing so I would wake up and look up at the clock and it wouldn't be time so after about three times I just ignored it and slept finally I woke up and it was like four hours later I had slept thru three bells. I woke up and went down to the next activity and Bro Carr was down there he was like you look like you jsut died. I was like yah I feel like it to. Ok it was not that funny but it wa like hillarious while I was down there because you don't sleep thru bells even if you are deathly ill

I would much rather have something hot!

Our church had a softball game yesterday. I walked over to the vending machines to get some water, and the water was NOT AT ALL cold!!! I was so mad!!

We used to get out the water hoses when it was that hot and wash the car, water the lawn (and each other) when it got that hot in the summer. Head for the neartest cow pond, creek, or river bank and go for a swim even. Our neighbor's pond had grapevines growing around it and we would swing on the grapevine "Tarzan style" and jump into the pond. FUN STUFF! Way more fun than the city pool, because you can get creative in a cow pond. They won't let you shoot snakes in the city pool like you can in a cow pasture, fer instance.

We don't have air conditioning and it's so hot here that the refrigerator can't even make the drinks as cold as we want them!

Well, now I can understand why you don't like the heat!
