Good singing and preaching tonight. After the hymns a woman sung how great thou art. Preaching was on fellowship. I'm thankful for a good church to attend.

I heard the first are actually going to be last so does that mean the one who started this thread is the real winner? lol

Well, I got this here thing inside me.  One doc calls it a node, one doc calls it a mass, so I don't know what to call it.  So anyways; I got this thing and they did a biopsy yesterday and they won't

At one time it was completely 100% legal to grow hemp - no one even thought twice about it - it was considered patriotic even. Hemp was used for making ropes and boat rigging, especially during WWII.

Now I was just teasing John about his kidney stone - it is certainly a painful and unpleasant diagnosis. We need to all be praying for him and his recovery.

Thank you for your prayers...and humor!

Thanks be to God, they (there were at least two) were small stones. I've had kidney stones two other times and both of those times were dramatically worse!!!

So, for now the kidney stone crisis has PASSED (Yes, pun intended!)

I'm slowly getting there.

Tomorrow will be very busy. I have to take my boys to my sisters; then I have to take my wife by the doctors office; then I have to take my wife to the hospital and get her all checked in and ready for her surgery (she has to be there by 11 a.m. and the surgery is for 1 p.m.) and then I get to wait for about an hour and a half while she's in surgery; then see how she's doing, stay with her for awhile, then go pick up the boys and go home while my wife spends the night in the hospital.

Then on Thursday, my wife is supposed to be able to come home, but not sure what time yet.

Of course, after that she'll be expecting to be babied for a day or two...or week or two...or month or two!

Thank you for your prayers!

The doctors first surgery of the day ran long so by the time the afternoon got there he was a little over two hours behind. My wife didn't go into surgery until after 3 p.m. (she was schedualed for 1 p.m.)

It was after 6 p.m. before she was finished with surgery and out of recovery. I didn't get home until about 9 p.m.

However, the surgery went very well and her immediate recovery is looking good as well. Of course we won't know how successful the operation was for several weeks, at least; but for now things look good. She will have six to eight weeks before she can go back to "normal" living.

We both appreciate your prayers!

Howdy y'all!

Brought my wife home from the hospital this morning. Overall she is doing much better than either of us expected. She is sore in the area where they operated and she has to wear a big neck brace (she looks like she was in a car wreck or something!) for at least three weeks, but the pain medicine seems to be helping and she is getting around pretty good.

Thanks to each and every one of you for your prayers!

Flood smell, yuck!!!

We don't need that much rain

Actually, all the rain will do now is make the grass grow so I have to cut it more often. The garden is about finished for this year. All is left is to harvest a few more okra and then the pumpkins and it's ready to be plucked up and turned over.
