IFB John81 Posted January 5, 2015 IFB Share Posted January 5, 2015 Church service and Sunday school were such great blessings today. The fellowship and friendship before, between and after was also a real blessing. Thanks be to God for our home church! Rosie

IFB John81 Posted January 5, 2015 IFB Share Posted January 5, 2015 Wow! My morning cup of go juice tastes terrible! The cold weather must have flipped the reservoir...either that or they forgot to filter out what the geese have been leaving all over! IFB John81 Posted January 13, 2015 IFB Share Posted January 13, 2015 We had 200mm rainfall two days ago up Lake Eyre area. Is that good or bad?
IFB woolysheep Posted January 14, 2015 IFB Share Posted January 14, 2015 Very good.Though flash flooding can be an issue as roads become impassable.
IFB John81 Posted January 14, 2015 IFB Share Posted January 14, 2015 There is a road near here which has a sign that reads "road closed when flooded". That seems like one of those "well, DUH!" signs, but in this world there are many that need such signs to convince them that flooded roads shouldn't be driven upon. IFB John81 Posted January 17, 2015 IFB Share Posted January 17, 2015 Unfortunately, as many are today, they wouldn't "learn" until after they drove right into the swiftly flowing waters covering the road, called 911 from their cell phone as they were being washed away, and then suing because there was no sign telling them what they should be smart enough to know themselves. IFB John81 Posted January 21, 2015 IFB Share Posted January 21, 2015 We are still above normal temps. The weatherman just changed the forecast, again, and now there is only a slight chance of any precipitation for this area over the next 7 days. Amazing how quickly they can go from forecasting rain or snow, even up to a couple inches, and then say hardly any chance for any at all. Funny how God's creation and how things work still baffle these people even with their billions of dollars worth of satellites, computers, computer models and programs, and specialized education in meteorology.
