Members kevinmiller
Because not everyone can discuss things civily.
Members John81
Then shouldn't it be the uncivil ones receiving some form of punishment rather than all of us being punished by the thread being locked?
Members kevinmiller
Probably...but I don't make the rules, I just follow them. :D
Members John81
This is the problem. Those of us who follow the rules find ourselves punished along with those who don't. I so miss the fellowship I had with a few good Christian men years ago. :(
Members IM4given
Hi all! I'm BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK from my trip! I spent 14 hours traveling today and I am just about dead on my feet, but I could not go to sleep without posting! What have I missed? :? Cheer up John 81, locked threads are a way of life on many message boards, even here, too it would seem. I left one that locked nearly every thread I posted because I was too "controversial" - I dared to challenge sacred traditions - the "this is the way we have always done it" crowd - with scripture verses! GASP! Since they could not have me stoned, or flogged, or drawn and quartered, or hung upside down and burned at the stake, they just locked the threads - which was almost as effective...NOT!
Members John81
Great to have you back with us! That certainly put a smile on my face and some cheer into my heart. :)
Members IM4given
Morning! I am still recovering from yesterday - I have 2 weeks of steamy stinking vacation laundry to do this morning and I have not seen my kitty cat yet, but I know he is around. Since this is the "last person to post on this thread game" I am going to claim ownership to the winning post! :coffee I win! :coffee

Members John81
Stinking laundry, missing cats, sick folks, and I've got sore feet from climbing up and down ladders all day! If it weren't for the Lord, we would be a miserable lot!
