Members John81
I would have to drive over an hour round trip to find a Burger King.
Members hermanj
Wow, you must live in the middle of nowhere! We have approximately 30 Burger Kings in the small 3-county area I live in. (There are more Burger Kings than McDonalds or Wendys)
Members John81
Yep, right about in the middle of nowhere. But it's typically quiet and peaceful around here!
Members hermanj
Well, if you're in the middle of nowhere now, then you must have bought my old house!
Members John81
Well, it is an old house, but the previous owner died while he was working in the cemetary! :o
Members hermanj
Oh, well that must have been my neighbor!
Members John81
My sister is an EMT and ironically, her first ambulance call was to that guy who died in the cemetary. I had been praying for a house to become available and this one and one other came up at the same time. Amazing how God works all things together for good! Members hermanj
Wow. It's amazing how God works things like that out. I had been praying for a car (my '96 Taurus that I mentioned on the other thread was going out), and my dad was going to work one day and saw a very nice looking car. I am now driving that one! Members IM4given
AMEN! BTW, I used to live so far out in the sticks that the sun set between my house and town!

Members IM4given
Glad you liked my bit of country humor. I lived so far back in the hills that we used a series of mirrors to pipe in daylight! Otherwise we only had daylight between 10 am and 2 pm!
Members John81
There are more dogs and cats than people in this little town!
