Members John81
My Dad hunted a lot so we used to eat squirrel, rabbit, quail, pheasant, deer, etc. Dad would even bring home a beaver once in awhile, or frogs for frog legs, and of course, various species of fish. Dad was such a good hunter that as a child I would get wore out carrying all that he shot that day!
Members IM4given
I LOVE squirrel dumplings! I used to go hunting with a 4:10 shotgun, and I learned to shoot the branches out from under the squirrels so that you didn't get the meat full of buckshot. They would hit the ground all stunned and dazed, and out Boxer Bulldog would grab it around the head and shake it to kill it. We always fed him the heads - he liked to go hunting even more than we did!
Members John81
Squirrel is delicious! My first gun was an over and under .22 and 4:10! My Dad used to take a slingshot and shoot squirrels out of the trees with marbles! The dogs would get them when they hit the ground.

Guest Guest
New game then, I never win at chess. I always wind up looking like this guy --> :?
Members John81
Me too! I once new a guy that when you first played chess with him you would think he was terrible, even worse than yourself. However, once this guy played you about three games he could somehow figure out your style (I never even knew I had one!) and from that point on beat you almost every game. I saw him do this not only against myself, but several others, including some very good chess players.
