Exactly Jerry! The reason the Fed government takes so much in taxes is so they can bribe and enslave the masses with "freebies".

If things were as they were meant to be under our orginal form of government, that money would be left in the hands of the States and people so they could best use it. Instead, the government takes the money away and then forces the States and people to play their game in order to get some of their money back, or if they play real nice with the Fed government, they can get their money and a lot of others money too.

It's a horrible racket yet most seem willing to accept it and many even demand more.

IT IS SUMMER AROUND HERE. Temps running 15 degrees above normal. May hit 90 over the next few days.

Under thunderstorm watch for this afternoon. Tstorm warning scrolling across the bottom of the tv screen, as I type.

Yep, it's summer!

Found out today a fellow Baptist pastor friend, I knew his father for many years before i met him in the late 90's, is getting a divorce, accordingly his wife has a boyfriend. Makes me think of this song, for we never know what tomorrow holds for us.

I Know Who Hold Tomorrow

I don't know about tomorrow,
I just live from day to day.
I don't borrow from it's sunshine,
For it's skies may turn to gray.
I don't worry o'er the future,
For I know what Jesus said,
And today I'll walk beside Him,
For He knows what is ahead.

Many things about tomorrow,
I don't seem to understand;
But I know Who holds tomorrow,
And I know Who holds my hand.

Ev'ry step is getting brighter,
As the golden stairs I climb;
Ev'ry burden's getting lighter;
Ev'ry cloud is silver lined.
There the sun is always shining,
There no tear will dim the eyes,
At the ending of the rainbow,
Where the mountains touch the sky.

Many things about tomorrow,
I don't seem to understand;
But I know Who holds tomorrow,
And I know Who holds my hand.

I don't know about tomorrow,
It may bring me poverty;
But the One Who feeds the sparrow,
Is the One Who stands by me.
And the path that be my portion,
May be through the flame or flood,
But His presence goes before me,
And I'm covered with His blood.

Many things about tomorrow,
I don't seem to understand;
But I know Who holds tomorrow,
And I know Who holds my hand.

Yes it is a great song, but some of our brethren enjoy earthly songs more than godly songs, which reminds me of another song, the 3th stanza of Will Then Circle Be Unbroken.

There are loved ones in the glory,
Whose dear forms you often miss;
When you close your earthly story,
Will you join them in their bliss?
Will the circle be unbroken
By and by, by and by?
In a better home awaiting
In the sky, in the sky?

In the joyous days of childhood,
Oft they told of wondrous love,
Pointed to the dying Savior
Now they dwell with Him above.
Will the circle be unbroken
By and by, by and by?
In a better home awaiting
In the sky, in the sky?

You remember songs of heaven
Which you sang with childish voice,
Do you love the hymns they taught you,
Or are songs of earth your choice?
Will the circle be unbroken
By and by, by and by?
In a better home awaiting
In the sky, in the sky?

You can picture happy gatherings
Round the fireside long ago,
And you think of tearful partings,
When they left you here below:
Will the circle be unbroken
By and by, by and by?
In a better home awaiting
In the sky, in the sky?

One by one their seats were emptied,
One by one they went away;
Here the circle has been broken-
Will it be complete one day?
Will the circle be unbroken
By and by, by and by?
In a better home awaiting
In the sky, in the sky?

Well, I've up and disappeared again, thanks to circumstances beyond my control (health), which are even worse now. :(

Prayers are needed.
God bless,
Joel ><>.

Sorry to hear that Joel, will certainly pray for you...
