Members Chelle
She called it a "dramatic reading". I'm wondering if it's a play.
Members John81
I know this is in the "question" thread, but this is where I should have posted it even though I was asking a question (can't get too many comments in the other thread!) -------- Does anyone else think it doesn't seem right, or perhaps even get irritated when you read pastors and Christian authors discussing Scripture and on the one hand they claim that Scripture is from God, but then as they talk about what is written they say something like, "Paul certainly must have been thinking a lot about the end-times when he wrote that epistle", or "Peter must have known these things from his Jewish background as it clearly influenced his epistle", and such comments? Sorry for the long sentence! It seems they are indicating they believe some of the writers personal thoughts, ideas or beliefs are the reason for part of what is written. If the Scriptures are God breathed, this couldn't be so. Maybe it's just me, but some authors really seem to put forth the notion that at least some of what is written in the Scripture is more human than divine! Members John81
I figured I'd just share this with the fun and gamers and get their take on it.
Members God_is_good
For Honeys Sake is a dramatic reading. A girl in my church wants to do it I did it a while back but I can not seem to find it now. It is about a little girl who is blind and her mother is really ill, the state pays for surgery on her eyes and by the time she gets back home her mother has died. Anyway yah I looked for like an hour last night to no avail

Members chev1958
Yeah, you really have to be careful when searching on the internet.
Members Chelle
John, did you try turning on "Safe Search"? Or, just Google it through this site (Online Baptist).
Members John81
What's "safe search"? I was searching through Yahoo. When my sister first got the internet she did a search for Barney (that purple dinosaur) for her youngest daughter and all she got was porn sites!
Members Chelle
If you search for anything on Google through Online Baptist (look up in the top right corner of every page and make sure "Web" is selected) you'll automatically be doing a Safe Search. Otherwise, go to http://www.google.com and click on "Preferences". Scroll down just a bit until you see "Safe Search Filtering" and choose the level (High, Medium, Low) that you think is best ("High" would naturally be the safest). I hope that helps.
