Members John81
I loved winter when I was a child. It meant fun! Now winter means hazardous roads I have to drive on, high heating bills, sidewalks and driveways I have to scoop, etc.
Members God_is_good
Oh come on where is your sense of advenyure I want to get married in a blizzard. The best kind of snowball fight is when you are barefoot and coatless!! By the way I am winning!! Hehe I missed posting so much
Members John81
I probably couldn't handle the barefoot part anymore but I can still do the coatless! I used to chop firewood in the coldest of winter wearing a t-shirt.
Members God_is_good
Cool!! Not the chopping firewood but the t-shirt part. I love the snow!!!!!!!!!!
Members chev1958
I'll probably enjoy snow again when grandkids start coming around. I have all sorts of winter pranks to teach them  For right now, my motorcycle looks awfully lonely in my garage. Mitch Oh, BTW, I'm in the lead again.
Members Jesuspaiditall4all
Does anyone enjoy snowmobiling or how about skiing? Jumping through snowdrifts on a snowmobile has often brought out the kid, in my husband......
Members John81
Winter used to be my favorite time of year. I still like it, but I don't get to have as much fun as I once did. I used to spend much of the winter out tromping through the timber, making igloos and snow forts. We used to break little "icebergs" off in the creek and raft on them. We used to ride our bikes everywhere, plowing throught the snow drifts or jumping our bikes into the snow drifts. I was always the last one to start wearing a coat when cold weather arrived and the first to stop wearing a coat.
Members Jesuspaiditall4all
Sounds like you really had a great time during the winter season......
Members John81
I've always thought it was a shame that puppies have to grow up to be dogs. Now I also believe it's a shame children have to grow up to be adults!
Members Jesuspaiditall4all
 I understand what you mean and definitely little ones grow up much too quickly....
Members John81
My little ones didn't seem to grow up quickly enough for me---that is until they actually grew up. :( It's kind of like when you are a child you keep wanting to be older and become an adult. However, after some time being an adult you realize how wonderful it was just to be a child. :)
Members Jesuspaiditall4all
I completely understand..... :D When my kids were little it seemed like it took forever for them go grow up and now they are 33 and 30 years old and I don't know where the time went....
Members John81
I've still got two at home, a nearly 8 year old son and 12 year old son, but my baby girl is now 20 and off to university.
Members Jesuspaiditall4all
A parent never stops being a parent, even once they are all grown up and moved out on their own. We may not have the same input in their lives, but we will always be a part of it. More than ever, I realize how our Heavenly Father never stops loving us. Through it all HE is right here beside us!!
