Members John81
I didn't say I no longer give her presents, but now I'm buying presents for a woman, not a little girl. :Green
Members Madeline
Where I live...women are called girls too, especially at my workplace ("Hey girl, how are you today?"). :Bleh
Members matie-k
So, any other ideas beside a gun? :Green
Members John81
If not a gun, how about a book about or involving guns? :Green
Members Madeline
Oooh....Baptists and guns. :-S
Members matie-k
Well, considering that she's only going to be 3, maybe we'll hold off on the gun stuff for a while (a looooong while!). Any other ideas?
Members John81
How 'bout a little dolly and some ribbons and bows?
Members Madeline
Would that be for you, John? :tum
Members matie-k
She already has two dollies. I was thinking of getting her a little bike with training wheels, or a toy bowling set, but I don't know...
Administrators HappyChristian Posted March 25, 2008 Administrators Share Posted March 25, 2008 Ooh, a bike would be good!! She'd love it, I'm sure. How about a tea set, so she can have "tea" (for real, if you like!) with mommy and her dolls? I remember a tea set I had when I was about her age. I loved it! But I also loved my bike. Hey - maybe both?
Members matie-k
I know she'd love a bike, but my question is - am I willing enough to take her out on it as much as she'd want to?? Probably not! I'm still thinking on it.
Administrators HappyChristian Posted March 25, 2008 Administrators Share Posted March 25, 2008 Is there room in your place for her to ride a bit? If not, maybe it would be best to wait a year. A bowling set would be something she could do indoors, and it's fun. She can play alone or with you and/or daddy. We got one for Joshua when he was little, and he played with it a lot!! Members matie-k
No, there's not really enough room for it indoors. I don't like the thought of her running into the piano either!
Administrators HappyChristian Posted March 25, 2008 Administrators Share Posted March 25, 2008 Well, maybe the bowling pins, or even a dart board with safety darts (they are really good for eye-hand coordination!!!). And don't forget the tea set! :lol
Members John81
Get the bike and get out the door with her!
