Members John81
Alaska is tooooooooooooo cold for me! I think their summers are only like three weeks long aren't they? That depends upon what part of Alaska you are in. In the southern portions of Alaska they have seasons and in the summer it's warm. Of course, the farther north you go, the less the seasons are until they don't really exist. For instance, in southern Alaska you have a decent growing season for gardens. However, as you move farther north the growing season is reduced to weeks, and then you get to where there is no growing season.
Members tired
My church had a girl from the singles group doing missionary work in Alaska. I had no idea how barren some parts are.
Members IM4given
Everywhere I have looked talks about the great salaries you can get working in Alaska - the flip side of that is that it costs a lot money to live there I suppose. Members John81
Yep, much in Alaska is expensive because stuff has to be shipped in from so far away. Kind of like Hawaii in that respect...minus the tropical beaches and such.

Members John81
I would love to take one of those Alaskan cruises where you see the glaciers coming into the water, whales and other wonders of God's creation, etc.
