Members IM4given
We have been in Hurricane Season since June 1st - but so far I haven't spotted any, let alone caught any! I just as soon not catch the limit though.
Members John81
June 1st huh? I didn't realize it started that early. Well, I'm very pleased you haven't caught any and do hope you may do without this year! What is generally the worst month for hurricanes in Florida? Members IM4given
Hurricanes usually happen during the Rainy Season here - from June - September, but that doesn't mean all that much. They can happen just about anytime!http://flhurricane.com/
Members John81
Yep, it's kind of like tornado season. There is a set season but they can strike just about any month of the year.
Administrators HappyChristian Posted August 2, 2007 Administrators Share Posted August 2, 2007 We have been fortunate all 19 years we have lived here in Indiana. There have been tornadoes very close, but we've never had any damage from them, thank the Lord for that!

I get into much fervent prayer anytime there is the chance of bad weather. Tornados have passed not too many miles from here, and done some damage in some areas not that many miles from here but thanks be to God our Shield, we have had no tornadoes here. Members IM4given
I h ave witnessed plenty of tornadoes in my life time, and then I moved here to Florida and we experienced 5 Hurricanes in a row. I am grateful to the Lord above for my salvation and for seeing us through all of these storms unscathed, without loss of life, limb, or property. Administrators HappyChristian Posted August 2, 2007 Administrators Share Posted August 2, 2007 I lived in Norman,OK my last two years of high school. There were a lot of tornadoes in those two years!!! I remember one time being home alone and hearing that the city was ringed by a few!! Scary, but God protected. Members John81
Did you now squirrels eat apples? Until this morning I never knew that as I've never seen a squirrel eat an apple before. While walking to my Dad's this morning there was a squirrel right on the side of the road eating a small green apple. I got within a few feet of the squirrel but he was so intent upon eating that apple he paid me no mind.
Members 5dumplings@home
I caught one of the tamer ones in my house looking for the nut bowl one day. She was really cute. I think she's in squirrel heaven, though. I haven't seen her in over a year.
