Members Ron
it's been awhile since i've taken a history class, though. Plus I don't know if you're talking about the historical figures or just relatives since many people have those names :smile

Members Ron
I've also never referred to Jefferson Davis as Jeff Davis so I thought it might be some other dude that you were talking about. lol
Members John81
Yeah Kayla, your school probably covered that subject more than some others do.
Members IM4given
We celebrate Jeff Davis' birthday every year! There is always a big gathering at his Memorial in Western Kentucky, complete with a regiment of Civil War Reenactors and Southern Belles. Members John81
The best program to watch on the subject at the moment is the movie "Gods and Generals"! I LOVE that movie! That movie inspires my prayer life and my determination to live for God in all areas of my life each time I watch it! It's also an excellent witness to my children of how a godly man should conduct himself.

Incidentally I have been offered a scholarship for continuing nursing school in Lynchburg, VA following getting my LPN and finishing Heartland! I have always wanted to live in Virginia! Lynchburg is 20 minutes from Appomattox.
