Administrators HappyChristian Posted October 18, 2013 Administrators Share Posted October 18, 2013 Something with hamburger tonight. And peppers. We were given a number of peppers the other day. Â So I'll be cooking them up. Â I'm thinking maybe something similar to stuffed peppers, only slicing the peppers for quicker cooking. Members Invicta
Teriyaki chicken and rice. Â While we were shopping in Tesco this evening, we noticed Halloween promotions, Fireworks for Guy Fawkes Day and Christmas promotions. Moderators Ukulelemike Posted October 21, 2013 Moderators Share Posted October 21, 2013 As I have heard, chicken stew. Not our own chickens, but our own potatoes from the garden I just dug out last night. Â We actually have a rooster we need to eat before our alpha kicks him out, like the last one, and the dogs get him.
Moderators Ukulelemike Posted October 21, 2013 Moderators Share Posted October 21, 2013 This evening I did left over roast potatoes from our seniors lunch. pepped up with olive oil, powdered garlic S&P and sprinkling of herbes de Provence, and re-baked for 20 mins or so, with Omelette with tomatos and welsh onions, smoked lardons and cheese. Pardon my ignorace, but what are 'lardons'?
Administrators HappyChristian Posted October 21, 2013 Administrators Share Posted October 21, 2013 We will be having chicken tonight. Â Don't know yet what I'll make, but something. Â Maybe Chicken Alfredo.
Members Invicta
Pardon my ignorance, but what are 'lardons'? Â Lard is french for bacon. Â Lardons are small pieces of bacon about a ÂĽ of an inch square and about three quarters long. Â They are available here in England. Â In France they also have a smaller version called 'allumettes' Â that is matchsticks.
